Re: Drunk and Depressed
Well it defiantly is a downer.

But the reality of the question is things often go bad, what for?

It's quite profound how a situation can change so fast.

All I wish is for one dream too become real.

Has anyone had a dream manifest? All my dreams seem too be confronted by reality.

Re: Drunk and Depressed
Yeah the problem is that everything is even harder and more depressing when you have a hangover. I mean it's like night and day, the difference in handling hard stuff, when you have had a good night sleep it's all so much easier.

OK so . . . my best advice from lots of experience, haha, tomorrow wake up and go for a long walk, listen to some music. If you have the time get out into nature. Nature does wonders for us. Try and change up your thoughts.

I hope you feel better!

Re: Drunk and Depressed
Bad things happen to good people.

It's just a fact of life.

After all, life isn't fair.

My husband always says "being good gets you no where."

I disagree, but I understand his viewpoint.

We live in a sin-filled world,

Such a place cannot function well as a vessel for protection of what is good.

Also, of late, "good" things like best efforts, hard work, moral character, fidelity, honesty, and courage are under attack.

Today, anything can happen and often does.

If it helps, you are not alone in your bewilderment, sorrow, or frustration.

It is getting very difficult to have true joy in one's life on this planet.

Hang in there.

Praying for strength and guidance has always helped me.

Good luck OP.

Woman I truly loved left me :-/

I try to drink to pass out and die but tonight I cannot because I have work tomorrow.

Yeah I work tomorrow.

And so do several million of your brothers and sisters will go too work hungover tomorrow.

I wonder why the spark of impatience causes us too misjudge situations?

I don't think I'm fearful. So why am I making mistakes?

Not for one second did I expect to have anything handed to me, but it seems that life took many opportunities to hit me hardest where it hurt the most. Now I'm doing the same.

mistakes are part of the human condition
it's what makes us who we are
we learn from error and then do better

if we never made mistakes we would be weird
and stupid

some of my greatest wisdom comes from big fuck ups. lol, seriously

look man, it's not as bad as you think
it's all in how you look at it
somebody out there would kill to have your life

suck it up and find something to be grateful for
you could be sitting at hospice drawin your last after cancer battle

it's always worse at somebody's house

count your blessings
go do something good for someone who needs it
