Wondering the true nature of dreams
Quite often I find myself wondering because its always in the future or I always remember dates or locations and I've never visited such locales before in my life.

My mind keeps thinking " there's a key there " when I dwell on it. Most people say its your brain trying to work things out.

But why the locations, specific dates and times and people I've never met in my dreams? I've emailed a few random people whose email addresses I've remembered in my dreams (generally the anarchist type ones) and they'll email me back saying they just had a similar (but things are different in their dreams.)

I really don't understand dreams. Anyone got some information or ideas on this?

I had a dream
Last night I went fishing with my family and cousin and we caught 3 small mouth bass in my dream.
And wouldn't you know it, we went fishing today and caught 3 mouth bass
I have ever seen that part of town where we were fishing, what I saw in my dream was the exact same scenery I had in my dream

See, crazy huh? There's got to be something specific we have been over looking for thousands of years probably (since we still don't know exactly yet.)

since I was a small child I always paid attention to my dreams. They have always warned me/showed me things that were coming. Usually always good :)
I think some people are more "tapped in"
Than others.

Another interesting fact. A source other then the Freud "self". I've thought about this a lot as well. Interesting nonetheless, thanks.

Re: Wondering the true nature of dreams
Aldous Huxley wrote about how there were different types of dreams.
There's the mundane ones. Then there's the "holy shit what was that?" type of dream.
(everything that follows is my own thoughts on the matter)
There's also the near-prophetic ones.

I'm thinking the mundane ones are just our subconscious firing randomly, the modern day theory of dreams....

BUT we all know there are dreams that are obviously NOT just random subconscious stuff.
I think those are either past memories...or alternate dimensions.
It's highly possible that we live on different dimensions at the same "time".

The near-prophetic ones are pretty obvious. you see the future in your dream.

Re: Wondering the true nature of dreams
its strange but me and my sister have had the same dreams throughout the years.

the first time I was like 5 and she was 6 and we both dreamt we were in the garden of eden

then the same dream about being in my moms car waiting for her to come out of my grandmas house and the car starting and driving itself

and then another where we were surrounded by a pack of wolves and we had to have faith in god to get out alive

im pretty sure there have been others.. but yes theres something fishy about this

Re: Wondering the true nature of dreams
It seems as though it is hate to say it like channeling.
Yet it is not channeling because we do not willfully call up the dream or the specifics.
We had not control or have no control over what dream came into our night or mind.

It is impossible for us to know a person at a precise time in a precise place and see all that in extreme detail. When that time has not even been as of yet.

Yet we can and we can also not even remember it, until something snaps that memory back from the file drawer of our mind.

I have had this to happen before. I even saw the car the person owned and was in. It was a customized car with a specif calligraphy pseudo name on its side panels, and rear spoiler.

I never remembered seeing this man in a dream, or the store door I was walking out when he came along side me, or that he went out with me. He even keep walking along side me a small talking like he knew me and there was no stranger situation.

It was not until I saw the car parked there by the curb that I knew I was in trouble. I froze and looked at him and he had stopped as well right beside the side door of his own car.

I acted like I was missing something and hunting for it in my purse. I would not look at him. He kept asking me if something was wrong. I told him I had left my checkbook on the counter in the grocery store. Then I took off like a bat out hell for that store door.

That was a bad man and finally got caught doing bad things.

I have no idea why we are shown all things just some of them.
One thing I do know sometimes the image we are seeing of those people are really not them at all behind their own image.
It is only their image that represents something unto us and we can relate to them by how we know and see them as.
Yet the same one who is speaking to us and showing us things by them is not them at all.
Everybody I know is acceptable unto me. So in a dream they stand for what connects us faith or what ever it may be.

And we are connected in a sense by sharing that same Spirit that is in us all in faith.
So the Same Spirit we share will commune to us through us not as He that Spirit is in His own image.

But these ones we do not know and have no connection to and those times and places ..
They are not for us to help each other or give back and forth to one another. They are to be a red flag elert unto us.
That is one reason why we will see them and then forget them until the time comes to be shown them again. The Spirit will recall that memory back unto us and we will know by our hearts it is not good.

We will mark it and stay for from it or flee from it fast.
The most precious things are the simple things in life, always present in the simplest of minds.
