Literal Smart Dust Opens Brain-Computer Pathway to "Spy on Your Brain"

That's also why, in spite of all the warnings issued by Rudolf Steiner in the second and third decade of the 20th century, nothing really was done with them and the counterforces had free reins... so we watched the rise of the Third Reich and the subsequent splitting of Europe, not to mention the developments in the US...

So imma gonna ramble...

So ok, I'm all for augmenting humanity through technology.
I believe the fundamental defining trait of the human animal is technology and not only is it desirable and logical and natural (separate topic in itself) but it is inevitable.

But what is being described here is what I call an "omelette" scenario... like automation of industry and manufacturing, robotics taking over labor roles etc.

The problem is the transitionary phase...

Like the initial loss of jobs and unemployment resulting from industry automation and the inevitable massive impact 3d printing will have (be mentally prepared for that one btw because it's going to happen with a bang and nobody is gonna see it coming).

A work free utopia in which robots do all the labor for us sounds great on paper but there will be quite a few "broken eggs" before society can reshape itself to include that reality in a positive way... meanwhile you're looking at an entire generation or more on the breadline before shit settles down.

"Job wars", protests, poor people are hungry people, hungry people are angry people... rawr rawr rawr etc.

It's why project venus is not all sunshine and lollipops. They don't mention that the transition to such a society would likely be a massive shock to our collective system.
You can easily imagine that even a world war would be a likely possibility.

Shit would hit the fan fucking big style.


Now, smart dust is no different, in that the potential for augmenting human ability through it's use is staggering, imagine what it would feel like to be omniscient.. you can't, but this stuff has the potential to make you all knowing, all seeing all the time.

We literally cannot imagine it... but it's within our grasp to do it.
We can do the unimaginable?
Are we not like unto gods yet?

Your brain and the dust a constant part of a merged cloud... the clunky external web as we know it goes offline as humanity itself becomes the new internet.

The power of several billion brains brought to bear on any problem instantly...

Loads of earth-shattering shit, the possibilities are endless.

But what's the price?
What eggs must be broken for such a monumentally powerful omelette?

Privacy... that's a given, the entire concept of privacy would shift (as it already is shifting) to something else.

Governments are already making headway into the concept of "knowing everything, all the time", steady progression towards the idea of total awareness of all possible information... Omniscience... one of the traits we assign to GODS.

So I think it' safe to say another "egg" is our current concept of humanity itself, what it means to be human, what we are now and what we would become are as separate as we are separate from our cousin apes.

"Homosapiens" would become the Ipsum Factus est Homo.
Wresting control of our development from either nature or God (your choice) but either way that's our 3rd egg...

What gods do gods worship?
Answer: none.
I think spirituality in general would utterly change as we experience what it's like to think like a god, old world views would fall away, but this would cause catastrophic changes to entire civilizations.

How do you think Islam would fare?
How do you think it's followers would react?
There's that war I was talking about... the "Self Made Men" vs the leftovers.

Large pockets of humanity would resist these advances but still resent those who embrace them.
What chance does your child have against a child with an augmented brain?

Civil war, global war... the Augs win btw, they seed the entire atmosphere with smart dust... the Earth becomes a giant self aware computer and individuals cease to exist but that's another story.

What I'm saying is, fuck your privacy, privacy is the least of it... that's a petty selfish concern compared to the carnage that would ensue... that will ensue as we become one with our technology, a merge that has already started.

You can't fight this, it's inevitable... but if you insist on getting your panties in a twist about it at least be concerned with something more important than the government seeing you daydream about banging the chick at the Tescos checkout (she is so fine).


Anyway dust in the brain is just low level shit, that's just fucking around... wait until the dust is our brain... and we no longer have a need for bodies to support an organic brain.

I have been concerned about Smart Dust for a long time, this is the first I have heard of this. I have suspicions that Smart Dust is linked to chemtrails.
