The ousted Islamist leaders hope their revolt will quickly spread out from Sinai to Egypt proper and topple the provisional rulers in Cairo. Mahmoud Izzat, a doctor of medicine, known as the Muslim Brotherhood’s “iron man,” ranks fourth after Supreme Guide Muhammed Badie in the Muslim Brotherhood hierarchy. He was a key figure in handing down the policy decisions of the Guidance Office, of which he has been a member since 1981, to the movement’s Freedom and Justice Party in government and parliament. DoorBert (OP) User ID: 1395890 United States 07/23/2013 08:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Muslim Brotherhood turns Egypt streets into open battlefield Dozens of people were injured in Cairo clashes Monday as the family of Mohamed Morsi said they plan to sue Egypt’s army chief for having “kidnapped” the ousted Islamist president. Supporters and opponents of Morsi clashed in Tahrir Square, throwing rocks and firing birdshots, according to members of the emergency services. Police fired tear gas to disperse them. Dozens of people were injured, medics said, in the clashes that erupted hours after hundreds of Morsi supporters held protests elsewhere in the Egyptian capital. The clashes came a day after the interim cabinet held its first meeting and called for peaceful protests after weeks of nationwide demonstrations and deadly violence in the restive Sinai Peninsula. Israel has successfully crushed their military wings after the last two big attacks on the Palestinian Territories. Quoting: TheOriginalMind Let them continue to shout. They crushed them yes, but at least the rocket storages are at the same level again now as before pilar of defense. And they now have better rockets and more weapon factories to build rockets. They already crushed Hamas twice - no reason to think they won't do it again. And as for the Sinai, that's going to be an interesting area to watch. |

We are well aware of that, that's why Morsi is in detention. I'm not going to say more, but just wait, some patience and soon it will be revealed to us all. |
