Prince Charles can NEVER be king while married to Camilla - it is against the monarchy constitution.
For those of you who don't know this - Prince Charles can never inherit the throne while he is married to Camilla because Camilla is a divorcee. This is considered adultery by monarch rules.

A monarchy constitutional crisis occurred in 1936 concerning King Edward VIII and Mrs. Simpson. Edward had to decide between the throne or divorcee Mrs. Simpson. This was big news at the time and is now part of history - in fact TV series have been made around it. He ended up forsaking the monarchy to marry her.

After the Queen dies, the proverbial will hit the fan, many will be shocked to find this out as he is pulled up on this "technicality". I believe there may have been a conspiracy to lull Charles into a false sense of security on the matter though perhaps he is still aware of it, but the public at large don't know - yet. But they will.

The only way Charles can take the throne upon the death of his mother, is either to dump Camilla (which he won't) or that Camilla's first husband dies.

I believe instead that Princess Anne will ascend the throne. She is nice but naive, unprepared for the job and will be out of her depth.

Where does it say this is a "monarch rule"?

They are protestants, you know, and this is 2013 not 1936!

Actually, he is very intelligent, has a photographic memory, recalls conversations from years past word for word, has a raucus sense of humor, is kind to his friends, works his ass off, and even used his Prince's Trust Fund to fund more than half a million young people in their first endeavors without them being required to pay it back, ever.
He has bought up rain forest land to protect it, and heads an organization attempting to do more. The reason is to protect the world's thermostat and preserve the natural medicines and cures that might be found there.

One thing I know with certainty is that you don't know him.

As for his wife, she converted to the Anglican church to get married. Her first marriage was likely annulled by the Pope to meet the constitutional requirements if he decides to take the throne. He may not, as it is not anything he ever wanted.

Re: Prince Charles can NEVER be king while married to Camilla - it is against the monarchy constitution.
There was never an actual law against the monarch or the heir to the throne marrying someone who has been divorced. The issue was social mores and the fact that the Church of England prohibited the remarriage of divorced people. It was long thought impossible for someone to be "Defender of the Faith" if he'd married against Church rules.

However, the Church changed its stance on divorce back in 2002 or 2003. Charles did not have to give up his place in the line of succession in order to marry Camilla. In other words, he's still King once Queen Elizabeth passes away.

Looking at the Parentsnad new baby today, I was thinking that they do seem like nice ordinary people, and the is the PR that the UK Roals certainly need,

If Charles resists this, I imagine we may have some palace intrigue and poisionings.

I don't think TPTB want Charles or any of his descendants to be heirs. Whether specifically for the reasons mentioned in my OP or not, I doubt he will ever want to be allowed to ascend the throne. I think it would be easier for TPTB to manipulate and control someone as naive as Princess Anne.

I suspect Will, Kate and the new baby may have a tragic fatal "accident" soon, just as Diana did. Nothing like giving the nation and the world false hope (look at all the attention the world are giving them now) and then ripping it from them. Can you imagine how traumatised the world would be? A perfect time for TPTB to manipulate the masses, just as they did after the deliberate cold and calculated assassination of JFK.

The 1772 Royal Marriages Act requires members of the Royal Family to obtain permission from the Sovereign to marry. Queen Elizabeth II gave her permission for Prince Charles to marry Camilla, and more recently for Prince William to marry Catherine Middleton.
Luckily I'm adhering to a pretty strict, uh, drug regiment to keep my mind limber.

I wondered about this. I doesn't seem right that Edward abdicated because he married a divorced woman and Charles would be allowed to be King. I didn't even think that the crown should pass to his sibling instead of his offspring!
Since the offspring was "legitimate" from his first marriage, and was the 2nd in line at his birth, does that make a difference?
