Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Detroit bankruptcy valid, federal court rules [ link to business.financialpost.com] The eligibility of the city to remain under bankruptcy protection will be determined in federal court, not state court, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Steven Rhodes in Detroit said Wednesday. Rhodes agreed with Detroit and stopped any lawsuits challenging the city’s bankruptcy, declaring his courtroom the exclusive venue for legal action in the largest filing by a local government in U.S. history. |

Let's see who buy's the land at pennies on the dollar. Who the calls for a tax-payer funded rejuvenation program which will make the worthless land priceless. Then you will wealth that belonged to the people of Detroit transfered to the Oligarchs. Take a functioning city... implement policy that collapses it...... buy up the property.....then rebuild it at tax-payer expense...transfer of wealth. |
