"Jesus of Nazareth, the Grand Master of our order, appeared at a time when the world was in the utmost Disorder, and among a people who for ages had groaned under the yolk of Bondage. He taught them the lessons of reason. To be more effective, he took the aid of Religion--of opinions which were current--and in a very clever manner, he combined his secret doctrines with he popular religion, and with the customs which lay to his hand. In these he wrapped up his lessons --he taught by parables. Never did any prophet lead men so easily and so securely along the road to liberty. He concealed the precious meaning and consequences of his doctrines; but fully disclosed them to a chosen few.

Does not have ONE clue as to what the Teaching of Jesus was.

1) Jesus taught Revelation, not reason. It was the Pharisees who thought that they could understand the Revelations on the basis of human reason. They were wrong. And they are wrong today. The understanding that the Doctrine of "resurrection" is a Doctrine of 'Rebirth', and that Chapter 26, verse 19 of the Book of Isaiah is a figurative description of the revelation of the memories of previous lives is understood by those who have themselves received that Revelation.

2) What Jesus taught were not his "secret doctrines". His Teaching consisted of Knowledge Revealed through the Vision of the "Son of man" and the Revelation of "the resurrection"; also received by Moses, Isaiah, Daniel and Ezekiel. Much of that could already be found in the previous Revelations.

3) "liberty" was not the purpose of the Teaching of Jesus. His focus was on the Knowledge of Truth.

In short, the "precious meaning and consequences of his doctrines" was still concealed from Adam Weishaupt.

He did teach reasons ! the laws of the Pharisees were getting so bogged down where a man couldnt even pull out his bull if it had gotten stuck in the ground, if the day happened to be on a sabbath. Thats why, during his day he called them white washed graves.

A Warning Against Hypocrisy
(Matthew 23)

23 Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: 2 “The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. 3 So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. 4 They tie up heavy, cumbersome loads and put them on other people’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.

5 “Everything they do is done for people to see: They make their phylacteries[a] wide and the tassels on their garments long; 6 they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues; 7 they love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and to be called ‘Rabbi’ by others.
