this black lady at the grocery store today expected me to back out my cart so she could pass....only room for one cart. i didn't fucking move an inch and looked at her like you better move your black ass. my back was hurting and i was going to the check-out line and more than happy to take my mood from the pain out on some fucking crazyvon trayvon supporter.

some white man saw our stand-off and moved his cart sideways and then she moved her cart into that space to get by and i kept on my straightforward path. after she passed me she said, "i guess neither one of us was going to budge." (though she did by moving her cart sideways :)
i answered back loud enough for her and everyone at check-out to hear, contemptuously "you got that right!"

i am sure everyone got what i meant by that.

I agree. I lived in Renton in 1999 during the WTO riots. It was never the same. I lived in the Seattle area until after the Nisqually quake. I left after that. Seattle is full of fucking weirdo's. I'd rather be in San Francisco. Traffic, 'keepin up with the Jones's' mentality, EXPENSIVE fucking cost of living, and ugly, fat women that for the most part only care how much money you make. Seattle is not a friendly city to outsider's either. It's a very cliche', clique, city.....very odd......Seattle thinks that it is bigger than it really is......Now before you go knocking on me, I am WA state born and went to WSU. I know Seattle. Been part of my life since birth. It's not the same place it was in the late 80's and early 90's....it's full of oddities....I'm out...
