Can you go into more detail on some of this? What is your base of knowledge?

Just one note as to why I ask. I do know of a fellow who is now very old but in the 50s and 60s clearly connected to the intelligence community who moved there in about the 70s and built a very interesting spread.

Im in sandpoint right now spending the weekend at schweizer mountain resort. Awesome place. Little on the warm side. Heading to silverwood today. Plus ya gotta love them idaho spuds

Northern Idaho is stunningly beautiful. Sandpoint is probably the most desirable place to live in the state, it is almost perfect. Short growing season though.

Someone told me it was a research base in WWII, for Navy. Also big "secret society" goings-on in that whole region, that may have laid some kind of plans for secession or something like that. White supremacists. The generation in WWII was involved in Masonic secret societies, embedded within polite society. They were KKK by night, reason why they wore those hoods. They were people in positions of authority and trust and couldn't have their identities revealed while behaving like hoodlums. There must have been some overlap between those groups and the Navy. The Navy is notorious for doing bad experiments on recruits and civilians. Lot of people came out of this area messed up for life.

Subsequent generation moved secret societies from Masonic lodges to university fraternities and sororities, and so-called charitable organizations like Shriners, Kiwanis, Children's medical hospitals. These are all used as fronts to both raise money and to facilitate weird ongoing medical experiments... My own theory is for alien visitors purposes. Why not.

There are still remnants of all that up there, I think. A lot of people were victimized in that region.
