Maybe his death was faked- and now he is now working directly for the military under tight control. More benefits to keeping someone like that alive then dead really

Has the coroner had his remains cremated yet, against the wishes of his relatives?

very

interesting they use 'show off' instead of 'show up'

almost like a cheap put down - very cheap

rip to a clever bloke who obviously did the right things to the right people to be so 'unfortunate'

The public is not grasping the story well from what I can tell . Most are like good - no one should be able to do that. Or even, some are saying "good riddance."

Is there such a gulf between thinking people and not these days?

He reported to Vice, a program produced by Bill Maher, a big cock sucker of O.

yes- it seems to me that if pacemakers were shown to be 'faulty' then there is the potential for lawsuits against their manufacturers

big MONEY always seems to figure when someone gets off'd

that and the requisite damning of their good name and good works

- as above - they chose the term 'show off ' ( as in what he could do ) instead of 'show up' ( inadequately protected health tech ) the faults inherent in pacemaker tech

Given the right frequency a pace maker can be stopped from far further than 30feet. Pfffft hackers, always looking to do stuff the hard way.

Jack told Reuters in an interview last week that he had devised a way to attack heart patients by hacking into a wireless communications system that links implanted pacemakers and defibrillators with bedside monitors that gather information about their operations.

"I'm sure there could be lethal consequences," he said.

Too bad he did not get the chance test it out on Dick Cheney.

He was whacked no doubt. Hope he left a dead mans switch or shared his work with someone so we can learn from it. While this hack is interesting, it is not a new idea or even that sophisticated. Seems a bit extreme, either the implications of what he found were too sensitive, or maybe he had something else going on. Either way a sad loss of an obviously brilliant mind, RIP.
