What items will you not leave home without that aren't listed on every Bug Out Bag list on the internet. Some items stay in my bag, some stay in my car. I'll start with a few. - Faraday Cage - not for EMP protection, but to avoid electronic surveillance - pocket US Constitution - plastic handcuffs (10-pack) - universal handcuff key - Camelbak backpack rain cover - USB drive with critical documents, transfering data - video camera w/car mounts for SHTF events, legal situations - power inverter for cigarette lighter adapter - prepaid cell phone (non-intelligent phone) purchased with cash - small cooler w/cigarette lighter adapter - roll of quarters in a pill bottle - EMP cover anti-static bags - portable batter charger (New Trent iTorch) - trailer hitch always connected - Dramamine travel pack (motion sickness from earthquake, car accident) - Fox pepper spray grenades - motocross half-face facemask and hat (for disguise) - small magnet - small gas can

Gum, hard candy and colloidal silver Mouths will get awfully dry and rank tasting without gum and candy to keep mouth moist with limited water available. The colloidal silver replaces many first aid items, and can also purify water from what I'm told.
