Today I became a Mason.
Joined the ranks of the feared ones.

Am re-pointing sections of my limestone foundation.
What a whole lot of work!

Why not a New Jerusalem Christian?

The Masonic multireligious system is causing the huge mess. Lots of religions mixed together is a huge mess. Masons should be learning that by now and graduating to New Jerusalem Christianity.

Re: Today I became a Mason.
Hoping it works out.

Did my first section tonight after work and it looks really good. Keeping my fingers crossed I mixed the mortar correctly and didn't add too much water. Am trying the British guys suggestion from the hardware store to put a bonder on first.

Scraped clean, brushed and then vacuumed the base of my foundation. Removed all the broken down mortar. Brushed it with watered down bonder and then mixed and mortared.

I move on to the next section tomorrow.
Any suggestions or tricks of the trade from the peanut gallery would be appreciated.

It's all good.

Was hoping some tips would be tossed my way but it seems not.
Made a Caesar and relaxed, tomorrow I'll be back at it.

I work with mortar for a living. The right mixture is 1 water for 3 powder. 13 I hope you understand.

Thanks for the tip, much appreciated.
Just having a cup of java before heading out to do 2nd section.

Is is best to let it sit for a few minutes or use immediately after mixing?

So much destruction, one wonders where the builders have gone.

Some perhaps forget it started with a story about a carpenter, him presumably being a free builder.

Very true, love it when a project comes together.

The masonry all started with the simple painting of the basement floor and well you know, one thing leads to another.

LOL i know, it's so horrible!!
at least it wasn't the kind with the glitter on it from the 80s but it was still annoying me. and luckily, it was an apartment, my arms would have probably fallen off if it was a whole house.

MASONS COME OFF AS A GOOD ORGAINAZATION...

BUT BY THE 13 DEGREE...

YOU WILL BE ASKED TO SURRENDER TO SATAN...

WELL THEY SAY LUCIFER...

BUT THERE IS NO LUCIFER ANYMORE...

WHEN HE FELL...

HIS NEW NAME IS SATAN...

AND OF COURSE IF YOU REJECT THIS...

THEY WILL KILL YOU...

BECAUSE YOU ALREADY GAVE THE BLOOD OATH!!!

NOT TO MENTION...

IF THEY TELL YOU TO KILL SOMEONE...

YOU HAVE TO DO IT JUST LIKE THE MOB!!!
