Folks, let me give you some advice. Try communicating with a dog. There are certain things you can do to get it to respond, it has ears and you can make noises, the animal can be conditioned to respond to a noise if it's reinforced by food. Can you teach a dog to talk? No, it doesn't have the physiology to support that, it will never talk or understand talking.

You can teach a chimpanzee sign language because it has hands and fingers, but you cannot get the chimpanzee to talk, its physiology doesn't support that, so it will never be able to understand speech.

Now try communicating with an alien, it wouldn't be a mammal or have any of the features we're familiar with here on earth. Forget legs, arms, fingers, tongues. Their environment would have created unimaginable mutations. If the alien has human characteristics projected into it, it's more than likely fake as shit. A real alien would be unimaginable to us. Humans do the same thing with Gods, they project human characteristics in them, giving them 'anger' and 'wrath' - human 'emotions' a God would never have.
