The Idiocy of the Ancient Alien Theory

I understand what you are saying, OP, and I pretty much agree with you. I feel the mysteries of our ancient past have just as much to do with physical, three dimensional alien beings as well as other-dimensional angelic beings that are physically (or dimensionally) closer to the Source than ourselves and other third dimension beings.

The Ancient Aliens series is fun to watch, as it brings to light many mysteries of our ancient past. Unfortunately, it also tries to postulate answers from just one side of the coin. Every once in awhile, Erich Von Daniken will briefly speculate the possibility of celestial beings being of God and sometimes uses the word "spiritual", but quickly goes back to physical alien beings with only advanced knowledge of technology. The term "spiritual" is left empty and up to your own vague interpretation.

Tsoukalos would rather you believe that there is no God, no angels and nothing that you could consider spiritual in the highest sense - Only the possibility that some aliens might not have recognizably physical bodies. And while his terminology is somewhat vague and murky and really could be taken in either direction, he leads the viewer in the direction of atheism - or agnosticism at best...ever planting the seeds of doubt in peoples minds.

The one big fail of this show is how on each episode they manage to throw around several theories and then without further explanation on how such theories were reached or showing harder evidence they just jump to the next crazy idea.

Don't get me wrong I enjoy the show as much as most people here, I've watched a few seasons and found it highly entertaining, but it makes me mad that they don't bother tell us how they've reached such conclusions what evidence and I mean real evidence led them to think of it as true. Overall the show seems to be what most shows are: a little bit of truth, lots of fiction and little science just enough to make it sell.

Pyramids were the only building style that could be built that tall with the engineering understanding of that day.

Think about it......it doesn't take much engineering to stack up a big pile of slabs to get impressive height

You left out being from a different place on the planet.


Aliens meant people that were not familiar in looks or customs and there is no need for them to be from another planet

you need to study these structures more...
there are some construction techniques we are just starting to understand today.
massive stone blocks cut and installed with such perfection thousands of year ago today you can not slip a piece of paper into the crack.

structure in south america created with stone blocks so large and heavy we today could not move them up to the top of the mountain where they built the structure.

i was interested in ancient cultures and their technologies for a very long time. most of what is talked about on AA i had read or even been to see ...20 some years ago....

I don't know if aliens have visited the earth or not, or if the ancient texts of the bible are alien encounters of some kind.

What I do agree with is the guy in one of the previous posts.
