Bees are evil

Nah, normal honeybees and bumblebees are the sweetest things ever and will never bother you unless you step on them or something.

These are not normal bees. They are Africanized hybrids. Look up the history of how they got out of the lab in South America.

I was working on a big ass roof and their was a yellow jacket hive in the area and yellow jackets kept coming on the roof..which is scary because the yellowjackets let off a scent on you and lets the other yellow jackets know who to attack and being on a roof...well you know

ANY FUCKEN WAY....their was one lowly fucking bumble bee for some reaoson proteting the roof and any damn yellow jacket who came on the roof he would scare it off which was cool because the yellow jackets would always fuck with me but the bumble bee wanted nothing to do with me...if i could have bought the bumble bee lunch i would have because that motherfucker was on the job the whole day..

Wow I didn't know that about yellow jackets leaving a scent. I can't stand them btw.

But that is such a nice story Op. Bumblebees are cool. They love purple flowers. I'm pretty sure that the hornet/wasp family eats the nice bees like honeys etc. so if that is true, you had a guardian angel in the form of a bumblebee that day

Government has been trying to replace the bee population via genetic engineering.

I know it sounds odd, but look into it for yourself and see what i saw. Or just ask yourself, where did all the honey bees go?

They don't want you to notice the effects of their chemtrailing, you see...

Good lord what kind of spin is this on this topic, trying to turn beloved honeybees into the evil, lab-escaped Africanized bees, as if we've never heard about this problem before. ffs.

Africanized bees will chase you down for at least a mile. The researchers on the documentary I watched ran out of measuring material after one mile. I think it was the NatGeo doc posted earlier but I didn't double check.

In AZ we have lots of "Africanized bees". Last spring 2 dogs were lost as the owner watched helplessly from her window.

I was swinging and saw a swarm in the neighbors yard, I quiklely went into the house, as I shut the door a few bouncd of the window.

If u run into them, they say "don't run".

they're more than likely africanized "killer bees"...very aggressive and spreading all over north america

so here is my question, could killer bees be a government strain created in some lab on plum island and let loose 30 years ago to colonize in mass numbers?

Honeybees are not indigenous to the new world. When non-indingeoneous critters are introduced bad things can happen.

We have lots of food and an occasional mishap. I would not lse any sleep over this.

Chill out. This was a hugely wrong and moronic experiment no doubt but this started in 1956, not a conspiracy ? and not on Plum Island. Yet started in a Brazil by a possible pstr**b* member. check out link and you tell muah.

Down here in southwest Texas I clear brush when in January and February. I keep everything else fenced off because of this and other varmints. Otherwise I only go in the brush when its nighttime when them killer bees are asleep or to get yellow jackets and wasps. When I see a nest on the ground (honey bees are in trees and i leave them alone)I get a bucket mixed with soap and water and dump it on them. Insects breath through their skin and suffocate from the soapy film.

I read the article in the paper. Those horses were BEAUTIFUL!! The hive was 3' w x 5' tall. The woman who was attacked also lost 5 hens. She said, "What if they had attacked the nursing home down the street?"

oops2

As far wildlife ~ we have everything here. Although the least are the honeybees. We have wasps, hornets, dragonflies, even fireflies! Not as many mosquitoes this year as last year ~ which I am glad about.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 36648852

Omg, mosquitoes this year in north central TX are like, "My name is Inigo Montoya. You kill my fazzer. Prepare to die."

Been having bunches of fun with the huge locusts(?) outside of my work today. They all want to come in, but they can't come in. Errybody would be all, "Nooo! Locusts!"
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 5711614

ok ~ you cracked me up with "My name is Inigo Montoya. You kill my fazzer. Prepare to die." LOL

But ~ they are not locusts ~ they are cicadas ;)
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 36648852

I'm actually certain that they aren't cicadas. These might not be locusts, but they look like massive brown grasshoppers. Have you seen these guys? They are huuuuge!
