I've lost the extra 30lbs that I gained with my ex and now I look better than ever, lol. Not quite "olympian" or "elite" yet, but I'm working on it, and I will never stop.

One advantage to being a skinny beanpole guy is it makes your pole look bigger.

And WHY, BTW, do people just get so freaked when one loses weight? It's not like I look anorexic.

the missus is saying that about me now. as i lose weight, she reckons it's getting bigger. it isn't of course.

it's just the blubber has moved out of it's way!

also, when i'm wearing underpants, or 'budgie smugglers', i look like i'm packing some serious heat! She said the other day 'you look like you've got a hard on'

i didn't though. it's a big advantage of dropping the pounds people. yer pecker gets more impressive.

a lot of people delude themselves though. they honestly don't actually realise how fat they are. that was me 5 years ago.

let's see what Brief thinks of himself when he pops in here. I can tell from his pics he's up over 30% body fat, or obese in other words, but I bet you he thinks he's solid as fuck.

I know! I didn't have any problem losing weight after my last child, in fact ended up a little slimmer. Breastfeeding helped a lot. I don't know how many times I was asked if I was sick. WTF?

Lupus and RA have put me in the "fat but not obese" category.

It's just ignorance. They're too used to looking at a fat face, they can't comprehend or accept when it changed.

Funny because on Facebook, I always have these fitness ads pop up probably because they are catering to my own interest. Ususally pics of very fit women, who clearly have worked very hard and eaten very strict to look how they do. The comments on these photos are unbelievable. You see sooooo many larger, even average women commenting and saying they look disgusting, they look anorexic, even saying the photos are fake and photoshopped. "I love my curves, I never want to look like that"... It makes my head want to explode. If you are truly happy and comfortable with your shape then you wouldn't be criticizing someone elses, would you now?

I have a very obese acquaintance, who came to me the other day and said that she didn't understand why size "14" is considered plus size, when the normal size is around 12-14... I wasn't going argue with her, but it definitely made me cringe on the inside.

Why is the OP so interested in weight and obese?

Just another 'investigation' that has no base at all?

Often it is out of a weird, envy...? To be uncommon is not normal. Though all are different. Even if they see you as beautiful… most find it strange, as they are faced with a sight and situation they are not used to.

Belly

Started growing a beer belly after 30. I've been going to the gym 3-5 times a week for the past year and a half or so, with a break for foot surgery. I still have a little "gutlet," as my wife calls it, but I generally like what I see in the mirror.

10% is like... stage lean for competitions lol.
