I would be scared shitless. Floyd and all that flooding in '99 was enough for me.

What idiots! They're standing right next to it. As a Floridan we know not to stand next to a sinkhole that's just formed because it's likely to get even bigger.

Its sad a friend of mine there lost a new car and his house was flooded.

Yeah, buttholes.

I live in the county north of Catawba .. Alexander. 12 inches of rain fell in roughly 6 hours in the region. Many areas in Catawba County don't have appropriate drainage (and haven't for years).

We got lucky up here in Alexander Co ... so far I haven't heard of any flooding. Though more rain is going to fall throughout the night.
