also, white girls not good enough for you, hunh?

my parents did not attend my brothers wedding - not like he gave much notice .... he didn't even talk about dating her bc he knew it was a no go in my family. God made us different for a reason and i was raised to believe and believe we should not mix with other races. i did attend....the first time i met who had been my brother's gf (no she was not pregnant). they had a catholic wedding.

personally, i am only attracted to white men. i would not be with someone of another race.....for my own preference, out of respect for my parents, and mostly out of respect for God.

i have dated men who have dated outside their race before dating me, but it always nagged at me and those relationships ended. now, i won't consider being with a man who has ever been with a non-white woman before.
 Quoting: m&m's

I never realized that God was the discriminating type, and thought he left that to us.

I've only been with two women in my life. One white and one half-Hispanic. They both had issues, but I've never attributed them to the ethnic genetic make-up of them.

If I were to do that based on my own life experiences, I would claim that all half-Hispanic women are cheating whores and that all white women are cheating whores.

And I would sound like an absolute moran to make such a claim, wouldn't I?

I would feel worthless if I were to realize it was my own internal prejudices trying to project my own intolerance onto my partners to cause the separations.

I really enjoyed this part of your diatribe:

"i have dated men who have dated outside their race before dating me, but it always nagged at me and those relationships ended."

So, perhaps you thought opening up intimately to someone who could be openly accepting in the way you ought to be would carry over vicariously?

'...but' you say, it nagged. What were you trying to accomplish by being with those men that never happened due the internal nagging? It has nothing to do with partnership, and you shouldn't give up trying to accomplish it.

This is a smart man. I have almost exclusively dated outside my "race" and have done quite well for it. The only goal you will accomplish by enforcing racist ideals is ensuring that those you hate will continue to return your hate. At best some of these people will just ignore you as well as consider you an ignorant and sad person.

Have not read the author but have seen references to him.

If you could sum it up. Why do you like him, what did you learn, how did it impact your thinking.

If you don't have time no problem, but for some reason i am curious as to what the author means to you

I have read all of his work. He was a man who tried to solve the mysteries of the universe by merging them. To him, nothing was unreal. And the existence of any one thing did not deny the existence of any other thing. Several years ago I had this creeping sensation that PKD was somehow sending me information. In 1993, Michael Bishop (another sci-fi author) wrote a book about PKD being reincarnated into a man named "Kai." When I saw this it was rather a shock, as that is my name. I feel I have some connection to him.

Re: Philip K. Dick is Dead Alas, Let's all Queue up and Kick God's Ass
never said i hated other races, but you will find, imho, in those races those who do not intermingle are the most healthy well-adjusted people. jmho. i don't hate my neice bc she is half hispanic. i don't hate others in my family who are also mixed, but i do consider intermingling a wrong thing and i have seen up-close the problems it causes.

i briefly dated this guy in germany who had been after me for awhile. i was aware he had dated a black girl beforehand but figured i should be open-minded. well, fast forward to the fb era and he finds me on fb. when i lost my home i asked him if he wouldn't mind me pitching a tent in his backyard for awhile at the house he was renting. anyway, he demanded that i stay inside and i took the bedroom upstairs. i was grateful for him helping me out, thanked him for being a good friend. couple of weeks go by and we are in the kitchen and he tells me that men and women can never be friends bc the man will want more. sooooo, the reason he invited me to stay awhile was bc he was hoping down on her luck ms. m&m's might go for something with him just for some security. uhhh....nope.

moved out soon thereafter - there's more to the story but that is the pertinent part. he asked to connect on linkedin and asked me to call him bc he didn't like how things turned out.....i accepted the connection, but i certainly won't be calling him now or ever.

if he had been a person of character he wouldn't have dated the black girl....he only dated her for sex....i had to remind him of their relationship AND her name! with me he had wanted more but told me when he caled after connecting on fb that i "intimidated" him....intellectually, professionally, and sexually.
w h a t e v e r --- there's one i wish my friends had not talked me into dating.

my loser boyfriend from HS who wanted to marry me, but was abusive and ended up working in AC casinos called me up after i came back from
germany....he told me about how he had dated a black woman while i was in germany (my "liberal" openmindedness didn't really register it at the time)....anyway he ended up suiciding himself in AZ or it was a hit. at first i felt badly, and then God made me realize he got what he deserved....and that's all i'm gonna say about that.

my ex? his other only serious relationship before me was with a japanese girl who he meet at NEC in boston where they were both enrolled. he is a vindictive asshole of the highest order and expected me to engertain him all the time. he is very argumentative, carries a black cloud of negativity around with him wherever he goes (which isn't far bc he is computer addicted), he makes big bank (i made more than him when we got together) now, but only the most desperate fucked up woman would stick around him longer than a few dates. i should never have married him. period. so many signs from God not to, but i felt stuck....every time i'd try to break up he'd reel me in....socio/psychopathic style.

i'm sticking to my own kind who have also stuck with their own or are virgins. of course, he needs to be decent and moral, too....and my soul mate or no-go. never settle. never.

He seemed to be permanently attempting to solve the "Why must we die?" question. He was frequently confronting the problem of life's "unfairness."

I suggest his last three books (in this order):

1. VALIS
2. The Divine Invasion
3. The Transmigration of Timothy Archer

See how divisive our language has become-a religious practice used to seamlessly merge into a philosophical belief into a fully integrated (wait, what does that meant now???) individual fully grounded and secure in his beliefs, mindful in his actions. Without unity we need Unity.

I want to be in the know too.

It is difficult determining whether PKD had "real" experiences, whether he was merely fed info, whether he was subjected to psychotronic weaponry.

What is the answer?

I saw on another thread that you seem to think gov mind control (penumbra term: MKULTRA) was limited.

No, very wrong. It is incredibly sophisticated. Wireless technology.

Remote neural monitoring and manipulation was possible in the seventies.

Anyway, your thoughts?
