I was standing there with the 12 gauge loaded and cocked, finger on the trigger, safety off, bead drawn on my ex wife, right between the eyes. She had just told me she had fucked our neighbor seconds earlier. I had not had any thoughts between her telling me and my loading and aiming the shotgun. It was reflex. I was going to kill her right there.

Then it hit me like a flash! Don't kill her like this! Kill her by taking our kids and raising them without her. Be the best damn father in the world and not allow her one more second with our precious children.

So I put the gun down and put my plan into effect. It succeeded brilliantly. My boys are upstanding, moral and gainfully employed citizens contributing to our community. She lives in a 80 year old rotting hulk of a house with no electricity and no running water (unless it is taken from the creek) and lives with a child molester who beats her most every day. She is a prisoner in that house, forced to stay home and not allowed a phone or car. She eats pills like they are going out of style and spends weeks asleep on the couch between beatings and drunken interludes.

I won and it was the best decision I have ever made.

I was short-sighted since I was 9 years old. Got soft contact lenses when I was 11. Wore them until age 43. Six months after the birth of my last child, my eyesight got worse for seeing up close (2005)....so I decided to have Lasik. Now I can see perfectly. I know its expensive at first but when you take into account the ongoing costs of glasses, lenses, cleaning products, annoyance factor....I must say that its the best thing I ever did. I dont regret not getting it earlier because technology is so much more advanced now.

Oh well....at least she got away from you. What an asshole!
