An officer just said that a tractor trailer rig with cylinders was on fire. He then asked if they should move the line from a half mile back out to a mile.

Sure seems to be more and more of these explosions.

We have always referred to that as the "triage area"...we place patients in appropriate groups based on severity of injury keeping in mind individuals to whom care would be futile so that resources are not spent on them and are instead given to someone with the likelihood of a positive outcome. The "staging area" is where we go when we first arrive on the scene and are told in what capacity (extracation, transport, medical stabilization, coordination, etc.) we will be functioning. The staging area is where communication with regional medical centers and dispatchers is maintained so that we know where to send the rigs and helos with patients.

I didn't catch all of the names, but about 20 min ago, multiple area hospitals were listed. Across that portion of the state I reckon, because Tampa Hospital was one of the listed.
