"Locals saying there is a landfill, a lumber yard and an animal shelter nearby."  Lumberyard and landfill 2 miles or so animal shelter 4 miles or so What is the topography like in this area? Is it like a tinderbox at this time of year? I would assume that Fla. gets a decent amount of moisture, so fire shouldn't spread? Fingers crossed for a non tinderbox situation. Lots of rain there this month. Everything is well soaked. There is trees and pasture surrounding area. There are a few businesses/workshops near by.
