A carpenter from that time period and location would have made utilitarian items such as tables, chairs, etc. Thomas Chippendale furniture would have all been made between 1740-1779, making the oldest piece about 275 years old (and he signed/marked most of his work). How many 2000 year old pieces of wooden furniture have you seen? I also highly doubt Jesus would have signed it/marked it as was the common practice in the 1600's-1900's.

In the late 70's to early 80's I new two different people that had adopted the lifestyle of not working or showering and preaching to any captive audience they could find. They went as far as to think others should foot their bill when hungry, thirsty or when looking for a place to lat their heads like many did for Jesus back then. Jesus was a total slacker and would be broke and/or on welfare now if he pulled that crap today. He wouldn't be able to prove he was Jesus today because of all those like him today looking for free handouts so they don't have to work. He would have to cure thousands of diseased people, walk across the Pacific and turn Lake Superior into wine before I'd believe he wasn't a slacker anymore.
