I planted one pound of French Fingerling seed potatoes and just collected 8.5 pounds of the little beauties...is that about normal? |

Everytime I have potatoes going to spud I plant 'em (if not winter). Nothing like the taste of home raised potatoes. You got a good yield from my results. |

For a very productive potato patch in a small space, till up an area, scatter the seed potatoes on the surface and cover with 4-5 inches of mulch (straw, grass clippings leaves, etc.) As the potatoes grow, you can simply gather them as you need them. |
