Everytime I have potatoes going to spud I plant 'em (if not winter). Nothing like the taste of home raised potatoes. You got a good yield from my results.

I grew them on a 4x6 tarp, on our gravel driveway...too easy to be true! I will definitely EXPAND, next year!

For a very productive potato patch in a small space, till up an area, scatter the seed potatoes on the surface and cover with 4-5 inches of mulch (straw, grass clippings leaves, etc.) As the potatoes grow, you can simply gather them as you need them.

you can use car tyres,you just keep covering them with straw and stuff as they grow and you just keep stacking the tyres
