Financial advisers and stockbrokers entice people to buy stocks on margin, which is like running up your credit card big-time. People don't seem to realize that they will eventually have to pay for their stocks if they go up or down. Very nasty to get a margin call and not have money or other stocks to sell to pay for it. Can you say "market crash"?

I don't even listen to these people anymore, I'm sick of the whole thing.

They have also basically removed interest from savings accounts and c/d's.

You'd think people would realize that the money stays in the banksters' pockets, THEY are the ones with big houses, fancy cars, etc-etc-etc; the average little "investor" gets next to nothing and the little guy often gets sacrificed in trades that benefit the big guys.
