if an Alien is wounded in battle,
cattle organs can be substituted
to keep the alien alive til
they get home.

the same way human organs are
transferred between different people.

however, using cattle keeps the men
in black from pressing charges
for interstellar murder.

there is no interstellar law against
killing cattle.
