The borders of the USA have been wide open for most of it's 200 plus year history. The people here bitched about whoever it was that was coming at the time and said they would destroy America. The Chinese, the Irish, the Germans, the blacks etc. The Mexicans will integrate just like everyone else did and they'll join in hating the next group.
