Agree with OP. It would appear that any nation that cannot guarantee security (who can really) will be without an embassy.

Unknown to many, an announced future closure date 4 days ahead is no closure due to any threat. It is a coded message to insiders that SHTF. Think about it.......assuming any of this is true, if the threats were actually real, what stops the embassies from closing immediately?
