I have been thinking about this a lot, and curious as to...

If our blood and RH factor have anything to do with us having an N.D.E, Or if certain blood types are anymore prone to having these types of "unique" experiences, as opposed to others, who don't?

And for all the rude people who want to reply, "Here we go again with the I'M SPECIAL" crap... Skip it please!

That is not where I'm trying to go with this thread!

Thanks, and with that being said....

I had an N.D.E. back in 2004 and it changed my entire "perspective" on life. I actually didn't know my blood type then... but after finding out I was pregnant, it turns out that

I am AB-

~"For the total development of the human being, solitude as a means of cultivating sensitivity becomes a necessity. One has to know what it means to be alone, what it is to meditate, what it is to die; and the implications of solitude, of meditation, of death, can be known only by seeking them out. These implications cannot be taught, they must be learned."

You missed out an option in your list. The 'I've no idea what blood type I am' option. I would fit into that category.

Damn... Sorry Johnny! You have had an N.D.E. though???

I can't change it now, I don't think. I just tried to add it and it didn't let me!

I had a Near Death Experience also that changed my entire life. I have B positive blood type. I come from a long line of O negative. One parent (my mother and aunt) and both her parents (my grand parents) are O negative. O Negative is known as the Universal blood type as they can give blood to any other person and it will not be rejected. My dad has the rarest blood type. I cannot remember right now what that is. I think it is B negative. I will check on that and let you know if that is correct or not. O negative is thought to be of the Royal Bloodline of Mary Magdaline.

I never thought of the blood type as having anything to do with it but good observation/ thought.

I would be interested in hearing about your experience. If you want to read about mine, I have a thread on here.

Much love and peace to you.

Hi there, I will have to see if I have checked your thread out when I get a moment. Is it the most recent, N.D.E Ask ? thread?

If so, I had been thinking for awhile now about starting one of those in hopes of getting some extra karma points, but unfortunately, I dislike typing and was "beaten to the punch"! lol

Obviously I will have to wait for awhile now! lol It's a shame too, because my upgraded account ends TODAY and my IP is banned from home, unless I can upgrade and login.

I don't have the money right now to do so and was soooo thrilled that this past months upgrade was gifted to me through a fellow GLP'er "knowbody special"!

Also I have begun typing mine out on WORD (very detailed) but happen to be having a hard time putting the sequence of events in order, since it was back in 2004. With this being said it may be awhile until it's finished, for me to share it. Plus like I said I REALLY dislike typing! lol

I would be happen to exchange comments in regard to your experience and similarities/differences after I get a chance to read it again, if I already even did...

Your dad is an AB- just like me. Only a very small % have this. (2%-4%) I believe.

It's interesting you come from a line of negatives and it skipped you. Same thing happened to my family as my grandma was AB- and my dad B+. Not sure my mom but she has to be what I call a 1/2 breed, in regard to the rh factor because she never got rogham and didn't have any pregnancy issues with my her children.

Anyhow, thanks for sharing Goddess of the Sea. Funny your screen name is that because I have referred myself at times as that in the past as well! No joke. Not here though! lol

Re: POLL: For those who have had a Near Death Experience, What was your blood type?
I just thought of something else... This thread poll may not be able to reveal much if it syncs up to the blood type percentage stats...

The approximate distribution of blood types in the U.S. population is as follows:

• O-positive: 38 percent
• O-negative: 7 percent
• A-positive: 34 percent
• A-negative: 6 percent
• B-positive: 9 percent
• B-negative: 2 percent
• AB-positive: 3 percent
• AB-negative: 1 percent

The order, overall, stays the same with worldwide stats although the numbers fluctuate slightly.

So what I'm thinking is that this thread might have a higher percentage of response after time, from the 0+ types, then the A+, ect... making it appear that N.D.E's happen most to those of higher percentage and the least to those with the lowest percentage...

I could be wrong but this would make sense....

Oh well we will see!

My girlfriend had a near death experience and she is O negative. She actually became an artist afterwards even though she had never been interested in art before. Here is her story.
