I'm sorry. I wish I could have but I didnt respond . It was only about 3 minutes ufo then when I went out to look it turned into that strange jet,rumbling ,from the sky sound,and was over in 2 minutes. Thanks for the reminder though, I gotta be ready . I'm not a phone on my side kinda person,especially this late at night.

Back in the mid 70's it was dark out,and all of the sudden I heard what sounded like a jet taking off. I turned around,looked up and saw a lightning fast fireball zoom by just above tree level,and very horizantly headed(no arch)showing how damn fast it was. It was the most awesome thing I have seen in my life,even though it was only a second,lol.Obviously that was before the internet so I have no idea what it was,but will never forget it.

I dont blame ya,but I know what I heard,and found out that someone else nearby heard the same type of sound.

That's funny, I heard the same thing 2 nights ago and I'm in long Island. It was the same wowowowowo sound that you heard. The sound went on for about 2 hours.
