I wasn't a coward, a fucking pussy who would rather watch American Idol and forget about the bad things like every other yellow-blooded American.

I used to be the guy who ran to the front of the line to help, who thought there was an actual "greater good" that one aspires to be like.

Then as I grew up a little, I realized everyone was lying to me to help themselves. It was religion first. I realized by using basic deductive reasoning that these people were lying to me, and I couldn't trust the few people who I looked to for guidance (church).

If that wasn't bad enough, I had to re-learn everything since the lies they told really fucked me up. While re-learning, I realized that other people were lying, and usually for simple reasons like padding their pockets or feeding their families.

I get it, you have a wife and kids to feed, but after a while, come on, whoever it is pulling the strings in your head has to stop and think "Am I being a fucking asshole? Am I making the world better or worse? (Not MY world, THE world?)" and really come to terms with the answers, the truth is the truth.

We are bombarded by lies from all angles, from our local newspaper ads (fine print) to the radio ads (restrictions apply) to our own government (Bengazi, Libya, 911 Commission, do I really need to keep going?).

Whenever I hear ANYTHING anymore that's being touted as "news", I ask myself what agenda it's feeding into. It makes you feel untrustworthy inside, like a bad person, always looking for the angle, always thinking "what's in it for them?".

Now I studied a bunch of KGB Soviet subversion techniques back in my heyday, and this really seems like a targeted campaign of strict demoralization of the American people. From who and by who, I do not know.

What I do know is that the TSA treating people like cattle is subversion (you're nothing, we rule you mentality).

The reality TV shows that highlight horrible trashy people and give them rewards for being pieces of human excrement is demoralizing to us. (why act respectable when the shitheads get everything?)

The "credit" system that is very corruptable (there's companies that sell "trade lines" if you need credit. So essentially the credit score system is a huge scam, I went from 620 to 798 in 2 weeks and got my home loan) If you can PAY you can PLAY.

The leader in our "government" is just a REAAAAALLLY good liar, and he knows it, and we know it, and everyone knows it. Being caught in lies does nothing, it's business as usual. Lies upon lies, fake crying for dead kids is OK, lies about his transcripts, lies about dead people and drone strikes, all lies with no consequences from the one authority figure we look to for support.

The one time the truth comes out, the truth is imprisoned and put in jail. The truth is called "TREASON" and no one cares. The truth is put through the ringer, in solitary confinement for months, the truth is tortured until the real TRAITORS feel like it.

I feel like howling with you. If you ever post the truth on any other forum then here you will likely get banned or ignored until the topic is at the bottom.

I once got in a rant about Obam's spying and got myself banned a few hours later at a history forum and the replies were mostly sexual immature jokes that had nothing to do with the actual topic.
