AAny Christian claiming to know the date of the rapture...or anyone for that matter, will be wrong. No man knows the day or hour.

They are non-trinitarians, believe Christ died a human death as atonement for our sins, do not believe in Hell, believe the soul is unconscious after death, believe in a human resurrection after Armageddon, only baptize adults or spiritually 'mature' who make the conscious decision, think that Christ will rule in heaven with 144,000 'anointed' ones (witnesses)in heaven (also the only heaven-bound souls), believe they are God's chosen people (of course), believe that Satan was cast down to the earth in 1914 and rules the earth until Christ returns, believe that there will be a 1000 year reign of Christ post-armageddon that will be a chance for non-believers (those that weren't exposed to the faith) will be given a second chance. They have various 'scriptural' reasons not to celebrate any holidays including birthdays, but celebrate wedding anniversaries. They also do not associate with any 'worldly' people (anyone who's not a witness) although socializing with 'worldly' folks can be contorted to a 'witnessing' opportunity.

Was born and raised a witness until I woke up around age 25.

1) They are ALL convinced THEY are right and all the others are wrong.

2)They are all certain..and voice this much and as often as thay can..that the ones who are "Wrong" will be tortured forever or killed outright by whatever brand of bi polar sadistic murdering god they worship.

3)They all use fear and terror to control their members
EG:-"Do as this law/teaching/guru/pastor/book/priest/elder/sermon ect suggests or you will be cursed/burned alive forever/smitten/come under demonic attack/end up possessed/ killed at armageddon ect.

4)They are all about CONTROL..control of your money..of your mind..of your actions/words/life and they all impose guilt and fear as "punishment" if you dont tow the line.
5)They are all about money..it always comes down to CASH..and if you dont hand it over they label you a "God robber"..you are robbing God..and thus come under the punishments/threats made in point 3.

6)They all use "LOVE" as the bait to get you in..mixed with "Fear" of some sort of terrible DOOM if you dont join them. Then once they have you the LOVE stops..and the DOOM increases..till you are left a mindless fear controlled zombie..arrogant and proud and self righteous..and the victim..who then being fully "Indoctrinated" after a time...then beleives point 1 completely..and proceesd to inflict steps 2 to 5 on other prospective victims.

Christian means; "To be Christ like"

The preaching work that Jehovah's Witnesses do in over 235 lands and conduct 8 million Bible studies is a direct fulfillment of Jesus words at Matthew 24:14- (quoted above)

Their preaching work alone sets them apart from all other religions claiming to be Christian

It also brings persecution, as Jesus said it would
