This hits close to home as in only 2 towns over. Less than 30 miles. I have been noticing changes with local police for the last couple months. I stay to myself and my family but keep a keen eye on all the surroundings, what other will simply pass by and not even glance. Police in my town (moved here 6 months ago) were friendly, i got pulled over had no insurance and was told to "go and do my laundry"... I was happy to see the police had an old school community first about them, all of them. But lately that has changed. Bigger guns in cars, newer model cars, New faces not seen, random searches. One town over is littered with FBI and DEA agents. So who knows. I get butterflies naturally now daily and that has never been a good thing, in any situation for me. I know my senses and surroundings very well. Something is off here in NEPA (North eastern Pennsylvania), even my wife is creeped out and she's a skeptic and just wants to avoid the "doom" talk. Be safe my friends.

I like the guy. I wouldn't have any issue with him being my police chief. Hell, if a resident disagrees with his views, chances are he or she is a left wing nut anyway. Since I'm not "open minded", and I'm not "politically correct", I couldn't care less what a left wing nut thinks.

We're pretty tough on police officers here on GLP. This is actually a police officer that we should support and defend. It does my heart good to see so many defend the chief against the government scum that would seek to punish him for not "getting in line" with the feds. He may be a little unorthodox, but by god there is no questioning his patriotism.

We met a cop who carried an AR15 in his car. We asked, and he said he would NOT talk about his guns. This was after an accident we witnessed and was giving our statements, when we saw the gun thru the window on the seat. Is that legal?
