I snapped a pick on my cell phone and of course it was just this little blue dot but after cropping it to zoom up it was this swirl of blue and white light...pretty cool! Then just now I came outside and what looked like a giant cherry of a cigarette darted like a shooting star across the sky Slightly above rooftop level! Meteroite? Idk lol |

Two other "ufo's/lights" were seen the past two nights in a row. Here's a video that was captured this evening. [link to youtu.be] The best part is the first few seconds! I was sittin on my porch havin a tobacco smoke when all of a sudden I saw shooting stars shooting up over Lake Michigan. At first I thought they were fireworks, but they did'nt disappear and hung there, without smoke, and looked just like stars. Then they satred moving toward my house, making a vertical then horizontal line. No blinking lights, no,sound, or colors. Just stars. Others saw it too. Somebody ...please tell me it was a fly club doing a night time air show or something. |

As it got further east it started to dim down. This wasn't an iridium flare. It was a like a giant plasma ball. I had the binoculars ready and you could see the glow that radiated off this thing. I found a YouTube vid close to what it looked like but through the binoculars was amazing. That's two nights in a row now. Next time ill have the tripod and camcorder ready. [link to m.youtube.com] |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 32800912 United States 08/08/2013 10:15 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I've seen 2 weird stars in the 90's of a neon green "star" stay still like a star and then zip upward a short distance then disapear. Both had happened at a low horizon angle toward the Everglades or to the east of Florida but since it was up in space I guess it wasn't near the everglades but that was the general direction. These sighting happened years apart. Also, about a year ago about 10pm I was outside feeding raccoons and did my usual skywatch when one orangey colored "star" caught my eye. I was just standing there looking at it (it was still) when I thought I saw it move to the left a bit and then all of a sudden it zigzagged then disapeared. I was like "awwww...did I just see that". I know not to blabber my mouth because noone would believe me. I did tell some bitches at work and they were looking at me like I was the alien. |
