The fact of the matter is the reporter obviously had been told not to mention an explosion and slipped up. Obviously we do not know an explosion caused the fire and the ommision of reporting the bang is probably to prevent people from jumping to obvious conclusions.
One more thing I did not mention the explosion the reporter did. Sheesh.
