50 years was an underestimate - Confirmed detection since 1930's and it is rumored that Tesla heard the signal back in the late 1800's.

What measures do you think one would need to take in order to record the signal? I would be up for trying to capture images or record the signal.

Also the photo's used are all of different objects. Aren't they just bits of space junk?

Also, if this is legit, why hasn't NASA or the Soviets gone up there and taken it out of the sky for examination?

"Polar orbit" got my attention. I lived near Vandenberg Air Force Base in California in the mid-80s. They were readying it to be a space shuttle launch site for a POLAR ORBIT. They built hotels and restaurants for all the VIPs and press; most of the people living in Lompoc and Santa Maria worked as civilians on the base for Martin Marietta, Lockheed, etc. They were set for the next shuttle launch to be from there in 1986. My best friend was sent with dozens of others to train at Cape Canaveral for a live launch, then to come home and do the first launch from Vandenberg. The launch they went to in Cape Canaveral was ... the Challenger which blew up live in front of them.

Suddenly all talk of launching from Vandenberg was cancelled. Hotels, etc went bankrupt. It was common knowledge for those of us who lived there but never on mainstream news. Now that's a conspiracy theory ... did they blow up the Challenger to stop a shuttle from being launched into a polar orbit and if so, why?

I read somewhere that it is too large to fit into any known near earth orbit vehicle as well.
So placement or retrieval is not even an option up to this point in time.
Certainly is an interesting artifact.

I don't know much about this "Black Knight", but we would be stupid to assume that humans have never developed the ability to send satellites and spaceships into space throughout our existence.

We are not as advanced as we were in the past. That is something I am certain of.

Either way, whether from earth or not, it's been there doing its thing since long before we had the tech. At very latest it was detected in the 30s but likely much earlier, especially by Tesla.

In 30s we didn't even have rockets to get your space, let alone the ability to put a satellite in polar orbit.

Also, the fact that the object is black makes you wonder if we were supposed to see it??

I was told that a guy was "listening" when Challenger blew up. He heard a second launch right when Challenger blew and could even hear the astronauts talking to headquarters. The challenger explosion was a cover-up, from what I was told.

It could be a probe sent by aliens from far away, from a long time ago, that had identified Earth and decided to send an unmanned probe to scope it out and relay data back to their home world.

For all we know it has already accomplished it's job within months or weeks of being here and now just serves as a beacon.
