Suburbs are dying and everyone prefers cities now! Agenda 21
So one might imagine this housing rebound taking place in suburbs all across the country – the middle class communities so emblematic of the "American Dream" of home ownership.

But in fact, in 2011 -- for the first time in 100 years -- the rate of growth of the suburban population was actually lower than the rate of growth of the urban population.

Agenda 21 programming anyone? Take a look at the comments after the video. At least some people can see beyond the programming.

I prefer suburbs.

I don't want to look outside my window and see 10 black kids in a group listening to that rap music.

Yeah, there was a 'slider' thread I just read and made me remember reading this article today. Yeah, if you don't want sliders, then don't live in the ghettos (cities). Accepting car burglaries and worse is a sign of a crappy place to live.

I wish it weren't this way, but black people bring the racism on themselves.

The Burbs - ugh!

Cities - ugh!

Give me the country life!

Absolutely. They have tried and mostly succeeded in turning my country life into a suburb, but it's failing now. I think the statistics on this are skewed...the rural areas that gave away homes back in the day had massive foreclosures...luckily it didn't get too close to me. I like my nature back here in the woods and it seems like a good sign the carpetbaggers are leaving.

U couldn't payment to live in the city!! Especially with all that is going on in this f'd up world! I prefer one foot off grid, but if I want/need to go to city, it's not that much of an inconvenience to get there!

^^If you're looking to the news media to see an accurate pictue of what happens in cities you're nuts. Look at how the media portrays rural areas, is that accurate?

Re: Suburbs are dying and everyone prefers cities now! Agenda 21
I grew up in the suburbs of a moderate sized city. Moved out to the country outside a smaller city after college. Just bought completely undeveloped property no where near a city for hunting and escape. I will not be complying with Agenda 21.
"God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787
