People are commenting like crazy on my Facebook while others are speaking out on similar situations not captured. Finally people are not as terrified by the police and are learning their rights. Same time cops are also starting to share their stress and pressure. It's like a fucked up coming together. If there is an evil plan it is backfiring as the empathy on both sides is starting to surface. Let's keep watching and helping by listening to both sides and seek understanding.

Wow, some of the comments on here...thanks for acting like pigs, people. The family being black does not change the fact that the police barged into their home, at what..1 am? And brutalized the family. The entire situation could've been completely differently. Not only did the cops say things like "This is personal." and "I'm going to tase your ass." They refused to answer the family when they were asked why they were there. Let's not forget the mother said she an investigation against two officers who broke her fingers the last time. This is police brutality. The family being black does not change that. So get over yourself little racist pigs and accept that fact that there is a such thing as on black-on-black violence and police brutality.

I live in Atlanta...

Dekalb County is the WORST, of the worst, and the most corrupt County, in the entire State!

The County CEO is even being indicted on corruption charges.

The judicial system is corrupt, and Judges get away with screwing people over inside their own court rooms, and even violating peoples civil rights.

I recently had a traffic ticket in Dekalb County, and when I went in for my first court appearance, I was asked to fill out a paper saying I understood the charges, etc and demanding I check a box for how I wanted to plead. I was then told to give the paper to the court room clerk, who told me to wait 6 - 8 weeks for a letter in the mail telling me when my next court date was supposed to be.

I waited 6 - 8 weeks, and no letter.

After waiting TWELVE weeks, I received a notice telling me that I failed to appear for my original court date (the one described above). It stated that my "fine" had been increased to $380 (from the original $70) and a warrant was ALREADY issued for my arrest...

I called a local lawyer the following day, and then went straight to the court house the following morning and stood in a line of people for 2 hours, waiting at the clerks office, and asked them about the letter.

When I, finally, get to the window... I demand to see a copy of the paper that I originally filled out (as this is what the lawyer advised me to do); and the clerk informed me that they were not allowed to give those papers out. So then I showed her the notice and demanded to know, "How am I supposed to prove then, that this is a false accusation against me by the court?"

The clerk frowned, took the notice from me, and then started typing on her computer and then looked up at me and said, "Oh! Ok you're good! Its all right here in the computer, this Notice is wrong!"

I then asked her for her name.

She told me they're not allowed to give out their names.

I then asked, how am I to prove that I was here today to resolve this problem with that notice.

She then offered to Time Stamp the notice, and put, only, her initials, on the Time Stamp, and gave it back to me.

I then asked about my next court date, and she told me it had been rescheduled, and a letter was "in the mail"...

That letter, did not arrive...

Until FIVE MONTH LATER!

So, I waited a total of 6 months, for a letter that was supposed to arrive within 6 - 8 weeks.

When I showed up for my new court appearance, I was only 1 of 2 "white guys" in the entire court room.

The bailiff, casually started organizing the seating arrangements so that I, and the only other "white guy" in the court room were conveniently placed where we would be called upon LAST... while all the Blacks were filtered out of the court room much more quickly, and were seemingly treated more favorably by the court room officials, including the Judge.

I asked for a PreTrial, where they let you go speak with the prosecutor about any sort of special deals they might be willing to offer you in place of facing the Judge. The prosecutor gave all sorts of sweet deals out to all the black people in the pretrial room. But when he got to me, he refused to work with me... despite the fact that another guy with the same ticket, was mysteriously let off.

I then informed him that I wanted to change my plea to Not Guilty, as the ticketing officer was not present in the court room with some of the other ticketing officers who were called on, so I decided to take my chance that the officer was not in the building.

The guy told me, that I could NOT plead not guilty, unless I came back 2 hours later for a different court session!!

Wait a minute!

I just sat there for 3 hours, missed my entire morning at work, and now I would have to drive 45 minutes back to work, sit at my desk for 20 minutes, and then drive back to the court room (another 45 minute drive) and sit in the same court room again for another 3 hours?

Waste my ENTIRE day and miss a full day of work?!

Are you fucking kidding me?

That is simply NOT acceptable.

They were denying me my right, to plead Not Guilty!

I realized that be making everyone come back later, who wanted to plead Not Guilty, they were setting them all up to face their ticketing officers who could then shoot down the not guilty pleas, thus allowing the Judge to slap them with fines anyway!

This also, is a violation of civil rights.

I finally just said screw it, pled No Contest to the Judge, and was told my fine was now $170... it was originally supposed to only be $70. Infact I had that info directly from the county recorders court website. I asked the judge about it, and he just said, "This is my decision, can you pay it, yes or no?"

I could not, and asked for Probation...

I was sent to a county probation office, and told them my monthly budget, offered them a monthly payment plan, and they refused to cooperate, and instead DEMANDED that I pay them $140 a month, for 2 months!

Demanding a total of $280 from me!

They told me if I could not pay it, then I would be sent back to the Judge who would either put me in jail, or force me to do community service.

Seriously?

I'm handicapped, from a tragic car accident, I am no longer capable of running but I'm lucky I'm able to walk. community service is out of the question.

I am now in the process of paying off the probation fees...

I had to cancel my Cable TV services for a couple months so I could afford to pay this.

I eventually want back to that lawyer and asked for advise, and he told me to just go with it, pay it, and get it over with, cause NO lawyer is going to challenge the Dekalb county's judicial system... they're all afraid of some sort of retaliation from the County itself...

I have since paid $250, and I still have another $66 to pay them, as mysteriously... they have seemed to have invented other "fees and fines" to add on to it...

This is Dekalb County Georgia.

The most corrupt county, in the entire state.

The warrant was for a $1000 civil fine that was 15 days late.

Fuck em. They knew why. They had a warrant. The home owners were stalling. Probably hiding drugs.

OH, I should also point out that the Clerk in the window was upset to see the Notice and commented that she was frustrated because... "Oh, we keep getting these. the computer seems to order them to be mailed out and they get sent out to people who shouldn't even get them!"

I asked her, what happens to people who mistakenly get one of these notices, think they got some sort of ticket from a traffic camera, and rush in and pay the fine because they're scared?

She refused to answer me on that.

So the COUNTY, is even running a SCAM there, sending out FALSE "official county notices" that are falsely accusing people of missing important court dates and demanding they pay these absurd and outrageous fines!

How many people fall for it, and rush in and pay the fine when they don't have too?

Got a link to that warrant? Can you tell the audience at what point in the video did you hear any mention from the police as to why they were there? If they did in fact have a warrant, they wouldn't have stood outside pounding on the door for half an hour. They would have maybe asked once or twice, and the door would have come down.

2) What is causing all this stress and hatred towards those they are to protect?
3) Why was a notice given out at 1am?
4) How can we remind cops we are the good guys?
5) What sort of lies are the cops being told about us?
6) How can more people speak out and come together to voice opinions?
7) How can more cops come forward and discuss their stress levels and ways to prevent them...
8) How can we follow the money trail with this - where does it lead?
9) How can we show more empathy - cops have families to feed, etc.

All very rational and reasonable questions any human with their head out of the sand should be asking.

Sadly, GLP is a save haven for people who claim to be awake but really just pick the sides that cater best to them.

If you hate blacks AND cops...then this might be okay with you. Because they're not willing to pull their heads out and see the BIG picture. Instead they view this with blinders on, blinders that block out the most important part: that this American family got terrorized at 1 in the morning for a civil fee of $1000? Really?

Whose life did the family endanger by not opening the door to these pounding gorillas (not because they're black, but because they acted like animals), like the officers said over and over again?

Why did the cops flat out refuse to give any explanation of why they were there?

How come the 911 responder didn't give the family more information?

The cops could clearly hear the family yelling through the door explaining why they were scared...and yet the cops did nothing to help them understand why they were there. Instead they used it as an excuse to get all puffed up and kick some ass.

Was it really necessary for the cops to repeatedly curse at the young men they handcuffed? Was it necessary to call them stupid over and over again?

At one point the cop asks one of the guys about his job, to which he says he is in graphic design, the cop then threatens to take him to jail which would ruin his business...almost threatening that he is hell bent on doing/saying whatever he needs to to ruin this 20something year olds life.

These cops are not civil servants...they are the servants of the state, of the government, of the elite.

We've lived in a police state all along, they're just now executing their power in a way that is shocking to most.

My mother opens the door and steps out and says “I’m a Christian woman don’t hurt my family” she was immediately hand cuffed.
She had it coming to her if you ask me.
