I've been bounced once from here but I find this site incredibly interesting. I have lived in SH for 18+ years - only 2 miles from the school and 1 mile from Hoagland. I can answer a lot of questions here but I have to say, most are just wild speculation.

As for the 'Danbury guy'....I grew up in Bethel which is the town between Danbury and Newtown and I know a LOT of people from Danbury.

I was personally at 13 of the wakes, wife was at over 20. I/we know everybody connected and her account would spin most of your heads. She was one of two teachers who called out that day. She was in the shower when the first text came, we were going Christmas shopping. Of course some of you will never believe this thing never took place but I can assure you it did.

It was hard on the town and many people are numb. Many others, like me, are sick of the absurd attention being given to the town. We all (except for the few who are looking for National Celebrity) just want to get on with our lives.

With all due respect, you're the one who said Rocky Glen State Park wasn't for walking, and yet it's full of walking trails. So I'm confused about why you'd say that (I don't mean any offense, but it's just not factually accurate). If you live that close to Rocky Glen surely you'd know about the walking trails...

Rocky Glen is on the other side of a main road. It's made up mostly of steep ledges except for some walking areas along the narrow river. The only real way to get to any of the walking areas is behind an abandoned gas station near the corner of Churchill.

I'm curious how many of you have been here. It seems you are guessing from a distance without any real basis for your conclusion. I'm a believer in a lot of controversy/conspiracy but this one doesn't fit. If you are basing your conclusion on the erroneous reporting that goes on after every crisis - you're already lost.

These are roads littered with houses. If you're saying he escaped this way through neighborhoods on an ATV - fine. But to say this 'Park' will facilitate an ATV to covertly disappear - that's absurd.

I was at James Mattioli's wake. It was open casket, he was dead. Went to a number of others, most closed casket, they were all dead too.

I live in the Bridge End Farm/Walnut Tree area...I can tell you with 100% certainty the area was never searched.

Most of the parents quietly grieved - you'd never know them. The event was coopted early on by a select few with agendas.
