The girl Chapman carried out had bled out and was ashen. There is a photo of Chapman carrying her out, but no one will ever see it.
She still had a pulse when found and numerous gunshot wounds, at least one being in the head. It is not unusual for a healthy person still having a pulse for a few minutes, but basically she was dead.
She had a terrible wound in the trunk of her body and Chapman was making sure that emt's would keep presure on that area for the ride to the hospital.
