Report Copyright Violation | 25 year old man brags to new friend at subway station that he's a wanted man his new 'friend' is an undercover transit cop. You can't fix stupid On August 8, 2013 at approximately 9:30pm plainclothes Transit Police officers from Area 3 were patrolling at Quincy Center MBTA station. While there a male, later identified as William Mavrides, 25 of Weymouth struck up a conversation with one of the officers (not knowing they were a police officer). Mavrides was bragging he was a "wanted man" and would probably end up in jail soon. (sooner then you thought William). In fact there were several warrants in existence for Mavrides arrest issued from Quincy District Court for Witness Intimidation, Larceny and 2 counts of Assault & Battery. Mavrides' was placed into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process.
