This has been ongoing since 3.12.11. I find it quite amazing that we overreact to this.. now; after everything else that has already happened. I guess it's because MSM is back on it.. Useless fuckers. If they had had the balls to put the pressure on the nukesters and politicos at the beginning of the crisis... maybe they could have been shamed into doing something to ameliorate the situation. Instead, we had to wade through reams of lies and bullshit to find the truth about Fukushima. Even then, we were beat down by shills and disinfo propagation. Oh well... It is what it is. |

Kevin Kamps, Radioactive Waste Watchdog at Beyond Nuclear: Well, the best I can come up with for what’s happening in recent days and weeks at Fukushima Daiichi is hemorrhaging of radioactivity. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 37864819 And the scariest part of all is that they don’t know where it’s coming from. But ultimately it’s coming from 3 melted down atomic reactor cores and severely damaged, if not entirely destroyed, radiological containment structures. That’s where it’s ultimately coming from. But why it’s getting out now in such a hurry all of a sudden is the big mystery. [link to enenews.com] [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] Thread: Fukushima plant is hemorrhaging radioactivity — “Scariest part of all is they don’t know where it’s coming from” at 3:40 for starters Japan allows for 100 Bq per kg of radioactive cesium in food beyond that it's considered unfit for human concumption. Incredibly in the US the standard is 1,200 bq per kg. So we easily can be importing contaminated food from Japan. And the ocean. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22311894 you just wait. I actually had a dream just like this a couple of years back. There was Martial Law AND ALIENS. After most people had been wiped out, the alien ships went around terraforming the earth & restoring it. In my dream I was protecting a group of children & we staying out of sight & I was bust collecting supplies to take care of them as we went along. Just when I thought I wouldn't be able to stay ahead any longer, we ran into a group of men (they made me think of Marines) and they helped us. They went ahead & it was all out war. They left us in a safe place while they went ahead & drew fire away from the area we were hiding in. After the smoke cleared, the war was over & the alien ships began terraforming & I saw green grass & clean air again. Around that same time, my son had a dream he was trained to engineer ships that could take humans up while the earth was restored. Crazy dreams… Or were they? |

No, it's ignorant to think they can encase it with concrete where its located. Obviously you don't fully understand that the location is basicaly sitting on the ocean. If we did that it would freely flow into the ocean worse then it is now, no cooling water would be able to enter and it would all endure everlasting recriticalites until it contacted the ocean and a hydrogen explosion the likes of which the world has never seen would occur. Honestly it was over when they built hundreds of reactors around the world and stacked thousands of fuel rods around them. We're simply fucked. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 36469274 HW: The Japanese authorities have been covering up the true depth of the disaster because they don’t want to embarrass themselves and the global nuclear industry and they are trying to open up another nuclear plant in Japan. When the Japanese people now find out that the accident is worse than we thought and they have been leaking many tons of radioactive water into the Pacific Ocean for almost two and a half years, this is a catastrophe. Tokyo Electric has no idea how to control this accident. This is absolutely terrifying after two and a half years. To find out that these reactors have been out of control, now that they can’t control this they don’t know what’s going on. We shouldn't have stopped at fat man and little boy, we should have sent all their brothers and cousins too and finished them off... Quoting: BRIEF :fatmanlittleboy: Hmmm. Those two bombs. I don't think your sentiments are completely without reason or merit. Recently I have augmented my opinion of the Japs. (I live in Japan). They've got enough intelligence and resources to get themselves into trouble. They don't have what it takes to initiate anything significant - they don't invent stuff ... they just improve something someone (a White person) has come up with. They improve it with tech that other White men have invented or discovered. They don't have enough creative intelligence to be heroes. What does everyone know about the Japanese? Well, we've all heard about the 'kamikaze' pilots. Faced with inevitable defeat and occupation, some sacrificed their lives in the hope it would swing things to allow Japan to continue unmolested by non-Japanese. Where is this spirit now? There were and are loads of people who wanted to volunteer to do a deadly job at Fuku in the hope it will give the youngsters a chance. Those folks were blacklisted and otherwise forbidden to go. I guess money was the reason - probably some insurance bs. Old Gengy (Khan) and his mobs tried a couple of times to land in Japan but were unable to land because of storms - twice. Then they gave up. The Japanese have always rolled-off that story to the kids and made them feel Japan is special and gods are protecting her. I wonder if part of the reason behind japan's piss-poor performance with Fuku is down to some sense that the gods wouldn't let Japan be poisoned? I suspect a lot of people are forcing themselves to believe it anyway. I shouldn't be rude to my hosts, and I don't mean this about the ordinary citizen - who I like and respect - but the politicians and their sponsors at corporations like TEPCO have now permanently ruined the nation - and the planet. They managed this because they were always more interested in how to make money out of the disaster than to help the people, the nation and the planet. Well they've succeeded and I hope they are proud of what they've done. There'll be no drastic action to contain the radioactive mess. The only option on the table is likely that refrigerated wall they are planning to build (the pink elephant). That wall will make the REVOLTING and disgusting elite here even richer and make the poor more into the peasants they want. The draught is on the cards these days and I reckon the only reason for this is so they can have a cheap and obedient workforce to do stints at Fuku. * The world could and should help by wresting control from the cockheads doing it now and just blitz it with sand, bombs, boron, cement, lead or whatever it takes. (But it won't happen). And I don't really understand about the recent reports of Japanese debt. I think the debt is to the public here. I gather half of the revenue the gov collects in taxes is to pay for interest on the money it owes to the citizens. But I don't understand what it means? I know the gov is printing money like the clappers, and all the extra money is diluting the yen and bringing savers' accounts down in value. Is what's happening in Japan something like a rich person spending all his money and then carrying on the illusion of being wealthy by credit and fraud? I really don't know, but after living here reasonably happily for twenty years I'm suddenly so disgusted with the way this country is being run I want to go somewhere else. But going somewhere else will mean compromises, and it would be a waste of all I have set up here. Tierra del Fuego I think? Or better still Mars. |
