Yes op. Depression is a reaction to suffering. Depression is not a disease. And meds only change the brain chemicals artificially.

I agree with you, OP! Lately, showing any emotion except shiny happy rosey ones make you abnormal in today's society.

I feel so bad for people, especially teenagers who are admitted to psychiatric hospitals because of depression, they are fooled into thinking that the cause of the problems are themselves, but it's the sick diabolical reality we live that is the problem.

Depression is not a normal reaction. It is an extreme reaction. Being "down" is normal in situations, but depression is an unhealthy extreme reaction.
