Good for him. He's resourceful and happy and living the life.
Sounds like the only assistance he gets is food stamps.

Beats working as a slave 50 hours a week to make some rich SOB happy. Until things make sense to work again, we will see more of this. Rightly so. Why bother to work at some dead end job, you cant get anywhere doing it. SO to hell with it. Like I said, there are a lot of guys who would trade in their dead end job, and harpy wife for a life like this. Think about all the extra room slaves acquire in terms of square footage -- their homes, condos -- whatever, it's way more than they need, so why not open it up to the few of us who choose to opt out and not be slaves? Sounds like this guy figured it out. I'm kinda doing the same thing, too. I've reached a point where I don't want my own place, I don't want to be tied down, I don't want the bills and headaches. Got there myself a few years back. I have already opted out. Best thing I ever did.
