How we all will PAY for ObamaCare (Affordable Care Act) IT AIN'T FREE, GOAT BREAKS IT DOWN FOR YA
It's not FREE HEALTH CARE.

Data from [link to en.wikipedia.org]

Summary of tax increases: (ten-year projection)

Increase Medicare tax rate by 0.9% and impose added tax of 3.8% on unearned income for high-income taxpayers (over $200,000 and $250,000, ): $210.2 billion

Charge an annual fee on health insurance providers: $60 billion

Impose a 40% excise tax on health insurance annual premiums in excess of $10,200 for an individual or $27,500 for a family: $32 billion

(The above is a tax on Cadillac Health Care Plans, Criticisms of these plans generally center on the small or nonexistent co-pays, deductibles, or caps that encourage the overuse of medical care, driving the cost up for the uninsured or those on other plans, which some say necessitates a Cadillac tax.)
[link to en.wikipedia.org]

Impose an annual fee on manufacturers and importers of branded drugs: $27 billion

Impose a 2.3% excise tax on manufacturers and importers of certain medical devices:$20 billion

Raise the 7.5% adjusted gross income floor on medical expenses deduction to 10%: $15.2 billion

Limit annual contributions to flexible spending arrangements in cafeteria plans to $2,500: $13 billion

All other revenue sources: $14.9 billion

Summary of spending offsets: (ten-year projection)

Reduce funding for Medicare Advantage policies: $132 billion
Reduce Medicare home health care payments: $40 billion
Reduce certain Medicare hospital payments: $22 billion

There are also taxes on pharmaceuticals, high-cost diagnostic equipment, and a 10% federal sales tax on indoor tanning services.

Nobody said it was free, well no one except hysterical repubilcans trying to stir up their meager base... but that aside. People have to PAY for their insurance if you get a subsidy, it will come from your taxes, so you're essentially getting back your own tax dollars. The rest is to cover the freeloaders who wont get insurance and jack up the cost when they land in the ER with a heart attack.

Remember, not a SINGLE Republican voted for 0bamacare, not even 1. This is ALL on the extremist Democrat party. Only useful idiots thought it would be free, about 47% of the country.

It was designed to cause it to fail.

They are not telling you what is going to happen for a good reason.

It is much cheaper not to buy Obamacare if you are healthy. People will just pay the penalty if they are healthy. The reason is they can buy Obamcare anytime they want at the same price. So wait until you get sick and then buy it. Because of Obama Care they cannot turn you down for an existing condition.

So the only people that will buy it are sick people who will be draining the insurance companies into bankrupsy. The healthy people will not get it until they are sick. Why get it before that and pay those hugh premiums.

Now once the insurance companies are broke the Federal Government will take over the whole thing. Everyone will be forced on to it at that time. All the loopholes will be closed at that time.

Allright here is what I came up with

Stick with me and follow along.

The total taxes raised to pay for the program over 10 years turns out to be about $586 billion

This will not be enough to cover the cost of health care for everyone in the united states over the next 10 years.

Population in U.S. 2023 expected to be around 330 million. This takes into account people dying/being born etc...

Assuming average health care cost per person per year to be $4495

we get

$1.5 trillion dollars expected health care cost over next 10 years

Obamacare is pure bullshit, the program will go broke.

THere will be rationing etc
...it is the only way it will work without raising taxes to fund the rest of the program, which would account to an additional half trillion $.

To make things even worse, the nation debt has now exceeded national output by $2 trillion.

A major revolution civil war will happen in this country within the next 10 years. you can count on it.

ALSO, the cost of health care per person may actually be higher than $4500, that is on the low side, may actually be as high as $8000 per annum.

So what the fuck is "unearned income" exactly? Investments? I would say that is earned income unless you inherited that investment income and then it is still sort of earned due to your DNA and the fact that you didn't piss off Rich Dad to the point he disowned you.cool2

I would say the only "unearned income" is welfare and other handouts. I include corporate welfare in that, so some of the over $200K crowd will qualify.

Clarification?

When I was a kid in the fifties we never had health insurance AT ALL.
When we got sick, my parents called Doctor Miller, and he came
to the house and gave us a shot in the ass, and my parents paid
the bill.
When all we had our tonsils out, the hospital sent a bill and my
parents paid it..
Also when we needed medicine we went to the pharmacy and
paid for it, no medical card.

It wasn't until THE GOVERNMENT got into health care that things
went haywire.
The doctors and drug companies and everyone involved
got into bed with them and the price of EVERYTHING went
through the roof.

End medicare, medicaid, and ALL government involvement in
health care and let people take care of themselves like they
used to and we will be back on the road to freedom and
personal responsibility.

I doubt we ever will now though, because the country has
become corrupt, and irresponsible.
Lying, cheating and stealing is now the norm.

Yes, once they put the private insurance companies out of business and get it to the single payer plan (the real goal all along) they will be free to unleash the death panels like anything.

They want to bring out healthcare down to the global level. Midwives and nurses, here we come! Going to be very rare to see an actual physician when this gets fully implemented.

That's how they will reduce the cost of medicine--simple denial of service. Already started with the elderly on Medicare.
