COMET IMPACTS - SUMMARY OF WERE WE ARE AT!
|
Patriot User ID: 31545 5/7/2006 9:34 AM Report abusive post | COMET IMPACTS - SUMMARY OF WERE WE ARE AT!
| Quote |
Remember the Deep Impact comet Temple 1 last year.
This was done to see if we could change the trajectory of an incoming asteriod. It failed and in retrospect created a worst situation via an immense cloud of debris which we may have to contend with in the future.
NASA FAILED AND ALSO LIED ON THAT ONE.
Now we have an incoming swarm of comet fragments which originated from a 18 mile Diameter Object. It supposedly broken up into 20, then 40 now 60 pieces. The chances that some of these objects may a 1/2 mile or so in diameter is very high.
However NASA IS AGAIN LYING TO US SAYING THEY ARE THE SIZE OF A VW A REFRIGERATOR.
Looking at the projectiles of the numerous pieces from JPL and NASA data, one piece has a .0001AU distance from Earth which equates to about 1500 miles or less. This particular piece WILL IMPACT due to the gravitation attraction of the earth via the ROUSE equation which is well known and quoted by astronomers.
BUT NASA IS AGAIN LYING TO US WHEN THEY ISSUE A STATEMENT THAT THERE IS NO IMPACT. SCIENCE AND LOGIC DEFEAT THIS.
And this particular piece 3P which is huge as it can be seen by telescope. It is much bigger than the space shuttle which 'could not' be seen at the same location. This HUGE piece may also brak up again given us two impact warnings.
BUT NASA SAYS NO PROBLEM - DON'T WORRY!
---
To digress - remember when our Lying George Bush was quoted as saying "We all be dead shortly anyway". Did he know this was gonna to happen?
In Summation
A Proven Lying President George Bush
A Proven Lying NASA
That is a proper analyis!
YET --- The debunkers say this is all crap - based on what????
What am I doing---
Moving away from the Atlantic coastline and getting out of Florida -- as these are the primary impact areas now being mentioned by the astronomers.
Suggest you and your families do the same thing. |

Also, IMO it is always prudent to have an evac plan and a well stocked hide-out. At very least have a bug-out kit packed and ready to go. |

A test to alter comet trajectories is not out of the question, ...imo.
I went to an observatory last night[ [link to rfo.org]
It was surreal,...we looked at Jupiter- (4 moons),...Saturn - moons. Interesting.
I brought up the comets and got the impression everyone was playing dumb on the matter.
Many new about them,... but seemed uninterested for some strange reason.
Well,...there is the fact the moon was bright and lit the heavens. The comets hide in the cloak of darkness.
I was getting hammered on a decent merlot,...one of the docents, using a laser-pointer, showed me the Hercules constellation. And the location of 73pS-W3 in the night sky.
To be cont;

THANKS for injecting some sense into what has become just another non-story being perpetuated by hysterical girly-boys with a lot of imagination and free time on their hands.
I think a lot of GLP-ers would simply die if they couldn't get their regular fix of phony disaster predictions from this forum... |

One of the mission aims, stated publicly before launch, was to get more information which could be of use in deflecting or destroying a possible impactor. So it's not exactly a secret part of the mission.
"I went to an observatory last night[ [link]
It was surreal,...we looked at Jupiter- (4 moons),...Saturn - moons. Interesting."
Why was it surreal? That's what they do at observatories.
If you come along to my local one the staff there will be more than happy to show you things and answer all kinds of questions, as will the regulars like myself, who are often there observing or just socialising.
(Oh, and they don't charge admission there either :-) )
"I brought up the comets and got the impression everyone was playing dumb on the matter.
Many new about them,... but seemed uninterested for some strange reason."
Probably because, despite the excitement on GLP, they're not really that spectacular to look at. Even the two brightest fragments are barely more than just slightly fuzzy patches to the eye, even through a telescope, and you really need long exposure imaging to see any detail.
Plus :-
"Well,...there is the fact the moon was bright and lit the heavens. The comets hide in the cloak of darkness."
A bit melodramatic (comets don't exactly "hide") but if the Moon was up then it would be quite hard to see the fragments, especially the fainter ones. That's probably why they concentrated on planetary targets, since even the good nebulae, clusters etc. would tend to be washed out.
"I was getting hammered on a decent merlot,...one of the docents, using a laser-pointer, showed me the Hercules constellation. And the location of 73pS-W3 in the night sky."
So they weren't really playing dumb after all. :-)
BTW, it's never a good idea to drink alcohol if you're observing - even in small quantities it affects your vision. I usually save my drinks for cloudy nights, like tonight :-) |

My opinions and observations are my own, I don't really need your advise on any number of topics,... In fact, I find your posts some of the most anally retentive on this site.
I take you for a BA hack/sock-puppet type,...am I wrong?!?!?
Anyway,...
Hey,...I met some great people last night that seemed interested in hearing my GLP opinions. I am going to the meeting of the local Astronomical Society on the 10th.
FWIW,...if you think so little of the posters on this site, please feel free to go away.
You would not be missed.
Thanks for volunteering your time/tripe.

And I'm not a sock-puppet for anyone - I voice my own views. Nor do I use sock puppets, unlike many here.
"FWIW,...if you think so little of the posters on this site, please feel free to go away.

Now who's being arrogant?
Just another question - if you're not willing to listen to my thoughts on the probability of impact, or on your conspiracy theories, will you be willing to listen to the people at the astronomy club? Are you going to tell them they're being "arrogant" if they say there's no danger and there's nothing being covered up?
Still, maybe by going along there you'll learn some real astronomy... |

I met the widow of the man who made the Observatory happen,... her daughter,...some very, very interesting folks;... I learned and listened most of the night to get a feel of the group of people.
I did not find a single arrogant person such as yourself, that spoke as if every scientific utterance they make was gospel,...imo.
I made friends with kindred spirits,...you would be the antithesis but also part of the design.

That may well be your "opinion" (and you certainly seem to have plenty of them) but I challenge you to find anywhere in anything I've posted on GLP where I claim that anything I say, or that science says is "gospel".
That's not how science or scientists operate, and I've said as much many times, since the "science as religion" strawman is so often paraded here on GLP. I'm very much "anti" that view of science.
And I'd be interested to see how long these "kindred spirits" remain your "friends" when you try to bring up the sort of pseudo-science and conspiracy theories I see here so often.
Like I said, how will you react when they try to tell you that you're wrong, or you don't understand the science? If you call me arrogant just for a few light-hearted remarks, how will you cope with serious hard-line scientific debate? |
