I Met Ferris Bueller's Car
Actually, it was Cameron's dad's car...

This week was busy as I attended a number of auto related events here in Monterey for its Classic Car Week.
I photographed my little head off amidst the dizzying assortment of gorgeous cars for a transportation database I am building for photo editing.

One of the key cars I visited was the 1963 Ferrari California Spyder replica built by Modena founder Neil Glassmoyer.
This was the 'hero' car used in 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' (of 3 cars made).
I was able to photograph it before it sold today - bringing in $235,000 in bids!

I would have picked it up myself but I still had to buy groceries for the week.
Oh Yeahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ferris Bueller's (technically Cameron's house) is for sale as well.

Originally listed in 2009 for 2.3 million...it's just been relisted at 1.5 million.
