On my way to work this past week, it was Wednesday morning I believe, I heard a story on NPR (National Public Radio) and the discussion was about foreign aid to Egypt.
We were told that foreign aid never actually directly goes to Egypt; it goes to Federal Reserve banks in different parts of America, and from there goes straight to military contractors in the US who ship weapons and arms etc. to Egypt.
That is what foreign aid is.
That money goes directly to the military industrial complex in America.
I went to NPRs website to find that link to the story and guess what ? It's not there.

There are two types of aid to Israel...military and economic. Economic is being phased out or has stopped. The military aid requires something like 85% of it to be spent buying US military equipment. If they want to take a portion of that 85% and spend it on something else then they have to get congress to approve it.
