I am not sure if anyone has noticed, but over the last couple of years, since the infamous "Cash for Clunkers" program, used cars have held values much better than they should.
The odd part is the used car market is non existent over a certain price because banks don't hand out checks like they used to any fewer people obviously pay cash, which has forced car sellers to walk into a dealership and get hosed or buy another over priced vehicle.
Look at car prices and you'll see it doesn't make much sense. The economy certainly doesn't support it, yet all the government interference with banks, manufactures, etc. are making us spend more on cars we don't need. The only problem is they're not give us much of a choice. |
