How utterly pathetic you Christians are. You have never had an original idea in your entire life. You have the IDIOT Christian religious 'authorities' do your 'THINKING' for you; and, then, you just believe what you are TOLD to believe, just like the defendants at Nuremberg did what they were TOLD to do. You can't say ANYTHING that has not already been said or written by an IDIOT Christian religious 'authority'. You are nothing more than robots following your programming. So, let me tell you something else you won't believe: If someone put a mallet in your hand and placed you on Calvary at the time of the crucifixion, you would be required by Christian theology to torture Jesus to death in order to get your sorry 'donkey' into heaven...in order to keep from burning forever in hell. This is the person you say that you 'love'.

Are you KIDDING me?
 Quoting: 4Q529
You make up a bunch of things no one says and no one believes, accuse them of it, condemn them for it, and then ask if they are kidding?!

You are kidding only yourself, as you must.

A person that you would, without any hesitation whatsoever, TORTURE to death to save your SORRY 'donkey'.

So, DON'T tell me that Christianity is any religion of "love" any more than Islam is a religion of "peace".

Re: The biggest blunder in the church for years!! The Paul Deception!
Wow, what a great thread. So, much of my confusion from scripture I can now pin down on Paul for the most part. I'm not saying he didn't ever have anything good to say.

But why were letters even put in the official canon. That's absurd.

Second, we essentially have two men as mentioned in the official canon of the Bible, that never died: Elijah and Enoch. Enoch has several books...yet none of them are good enough to include in the offical canon? WHY???????

We know the apostle Jude read Enoch. He quotes directly from it. And what about the Gospel of Thomas and Philip?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22407179

Paul said alot of good things, but some not so good stuff was mixed in. That's the worst kind of deceiver - hide the bad in lots of good!

Yes, I've also come to the realization that most of my previous confusion came from Paul and how he disagreed with much of the rest of the Bible.

Paul's letters wasn't considered "canon" or even "Scripture" in the first few decades after Jesus ascended. Many early believers rejected Paul's letters, including the Ebionites.

After years of weighing both sides with lots of daily prayer on the subject, I've settled on the side that Paul was false. I would not say that my ideas about Paul are "preconceived" - I would say they were very, very carefully considered.

^Agreed. And this Paul is a liar stuff... What the.. why? Paul's entire life was dedicated to God to the best of his understanding and experience. So Paul lies to serve the God that has always and only said "You shall not lie."?! And Paul's lies are to tell us believe in Christ and serve each other! What a horrible liar! Absurd. Madness. I can only think they must be psychotic Jew-haters. What else is there?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 45595821

Agree. Except they seem to be lovers of the law, just like the Pharisees, since they keep calling Paul an antinomian.
 Quoting: Keep2theCode

Jesus said that the Pharisees were WEAK on the Law. They followed their own traditions instead of God's Law. (for example Matthew 23:23)

Paul, on the other hand, claims that he was a Pharisee and kept the Law perfectly. (see Phl 3:5-6)

Christians today forgot what Jesus said, and just listens to Paul. They think that the Pharisees kept the law closely, when in fact, they didn't.

Paul was an antinomian.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27752111

Thank you! The Pharisees followed what is called the oral law, the law of man, or the law of the elders. This became the Talmud, which modern Jews follow because they are Pharisees. Jesus condemned them for this, for twisting the laws of the Father.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 45636231

For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:

Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;

Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.

But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.

Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith
:

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

Acts 9: 15 Go for he (Paul) , is a chosen vessel of MINE, to bear my name among the gentiles kings, and the children of Israel. This is in red in my bible, spoken by our LORD. You must remember that until JESUS CHRIST went to the cross, the law was what they were going by. After the cross of JESUS it is GRACE and FAITH that is taught. When you accept CHRIST, you have a change in your heart and the HOLY SPIRIT will guide you to be the best you can be. Praise GOD. You are no longer under the law but GRACE. Yes, I believe Paul because the LORD said he was HIS chosen vessel.

He chose Judas too.

Luke was mentored by Paul. Luke was not there on that damascus road. It was hearsay.

That is what people don't get. You read 4 gospels on who went to the tomb that "easter" morning, you get 4 differnet accounts. Why? Because the writers were not there. Hearsay. Not inspired people.

Another thing. Why do people use Paul to defend Paul? Gimme a break. Jesus words are life and sanctification. Jesus prays to the Father for us to receive the Spirit of Truth. Without blood their is no remission.

Why do we need Paul? Did Jesus says oops and send Paul? I guess.

On the other hand, re the words translated "congregation",
"To everything the is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven."
You might say, there was a time to DE-congregate from the accustomed place of assembly for the "congregated throngs".:

“When you catch sight of the disgusting thing that causes desolation, as spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in a holy place, . . . then let those in Judea begin fleeing to the mountains.” (Matt. 24:15, 16) But how would Jesus’ followers recognize when this prophecy was being fulfilled?

14 As events unfolded, the meaning of Jesus’ words became clear. In 66 C.E., Roman armies under Cestius Gallus arrived in Jerusalem to quell a Jewish rebellion. When the Jewish rebels, known as the Zealots, sought refuge inside the temple fortress, Roman soldiers began to undermine the temple wall. For alert Christians, the meaning was plain to see: A pagan army with its idolatrous standards (“the disgusting thing”) got as far as the temple wall (“a holy place”). It was time for Jesus’ followers to “begin fleeing to the mountains.” But how would they get out of a city that was under siege? Events were about to take an unexpected turn.

15 For no apparent reason, Cestius Gallus and his troops withdrew from Jerusalem and began retreating. The Zealots gave chase. With the warring parties away, Jesus’ followers suddenly had an opportunity to flee. Jesus had specifically instructed them to leave their material possessions behind and depart without delay. (Read Matthew 24:17, 18.) Was prompt action really necessary? The answer soon became clear. Within days, the Zealots returned and began forcing the inhabitants of Jerusalem and Judea to join the rebellion. Conditions within the city rapidly deteriorated as rival Jewish factions struggled for control. Flight became increasingly difficult. When the Romans returned in 70 C.E., flight became impossible. (Luke 19:43) Any who had lingered were trapped! For the Christians who had fled to the mountains, heeding Jesus’ instructions meant saving their lives." [link to wol.jw.org]

This isn't preterism- saying it's all already happened, b/c also expecting a further fulfillment in the "great tribulation."
I hope someone can figure out 1.that, and if so, then 2.how this might apply to subject under discussion.

Right now I have to go see about someone just taken to hospital very ill.
 Quoting: chauchat

What if what Jesus was talking about wasn't regarding the Roman invasion? What if he was talking about Paul who caused the desolation?

The Holy Spirit told some disciples that Paul shouldn't go to Jerusalem: Acts 21:4, but Paul disobeyed: Acts 21:15, which led to the Temple's desolation. The record says that Paul brought his disciple Trophimus an uncircumcised Gentile with him to Jerusalem. Trophimus believed what Paul taught, that "circumcision and uncircumcision is nothing", that the "Temple's middle wall was torn" and that "God does not live in temples built by human hands". That gave Trophimus confidence to enter into the Temple and so caused its abomination: Ezekiel 44:7.

The Jewish Messianics from Asia (they were taught by Paul before: Acts 21:20-28), had rejected Paul's faith-only message: 2Tim 1:15 and Paul's unwitnessed claims to apostleship: Revelation 2:2. They witnessed this desolation of the Temple, and being zealous for God's Law: Acts 21:20, they were against Paul: Acts 22:27-.

So, in essence, Paul rejected the "old" and confirmed a so-called "new" covenant with his disciples as prophesied in Daniel 9:27, and abominated and desolated the Temple which fulfilled Daniel's (9:27) & Jesus's Matthew 24 prophecy.

Messiah taught about the abomination of desolation in Mt 24:15- as happening after His time on earth Dan 9:26, and would mark a time before the destruction of the Temple Matthew 24:1-3.

But of course, most Christians won't even consider this possibility.

I pray that your ill friend recovers.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27752111

This is really interesting! I didn't even think anyone would think it applied to the topic, let alone that it would be grist for your mill, so to speak, and you'd have an answer all ready. I haven't read all the scriptures you mentioned yet, but I will. I've read all of Matthew 21 and this is the verse that I'd most like to point out to you-
Act 21:29 For they had previously seen Trophi·mus+ the E·phesian in the city with him, but they were imagining Paul had brought him into the temple. "Imagining"

Also [don't know what to leave out]-

Acts 21:3 After coming in sight of the island of Cyprus+ we left it behind on the left side and sailed on to Syria,+ and landed at Tyre, for there the boat was to unload [its] cargo.+ 4 By a search we found the disciples and remained here seven days. But through the spirit+ they repeatedly told Paul not to set foot in Jerusalem. 5 So when we had completed the days, we went forth and started on our way; but they all, together with the women and children, conducted us as far as outside the city. And kneeling+ down on the beach we had prayer 6 and said good-bye+ to one another, and we went up into the boat but they returned to their homes.

7 We then completed the voyage from Tyre and arrived at Ptol·e·mais, and we greeted the brothers and stayed one day with them. 8 The next day we set out and arrived in Caes·a·rea,+ and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelizer,* who was one of the seven men,+ and we stayed with him. 9 This man had four daughters, virgins, that prophesied.+ 10 But while we were remaining quite a number of days, a certain prophet named Aga·bus+ came down from Ju·dea, 11 and he came to us and took up the girdle of Paul, bound his own feet and hands and said: “Thus says the holy spirit, ‘The man to whom this girdle belongs the Jews will bind+ in this manner in Jerusalem and deliver+ into the hands of people of the nations.’” 12 Now when we heard this, both we and those of that place began entreating him not to go+ up to Jerusalem. 13 Then Paul answered: “What are YOU doing by weeping+ and making me weak at heart?+ Rest assured, I am ready not only to be bound but also to die+ at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.” 14 When he would not be dissuaded, we acquiesced with the words: “Let the will+ of Jehovah* take place.”

So Paul agreed with what the holy spirit told those first guys , but later things change and it's different people begging him not to go, but a prophet is telling him what will happen. -Reminds me of Jesus [prophesying] telling disciples what must happen to him, and Peter urging him,"Be good to yourself master! You will not have this fate at all!" And Jesus tells him "Get behind me Satan!"

Anyway the whole of chapter 21 sounds like the locals in Jerusalem were all screaming and running around like chickens with their heads cut off, giving a pretty good impression of being animated by a spirit of confusion, rather than the Holy Spirit.

If they only imagined Trophimus came into the Temple then that Ezekiel 44 wouldn't apply would it?

I'm very interested to read about more of what you've said, but have to leave again rt now.
Thanks for kind wishes and prayer.
 Quoting: chauchat

"""Trophimus believed what Paul taught, that "circumcision and uncircumcision is nothing", that the "Temple's middle wall was torn" and that "God does not live in temples built by human hands".""""Quote-27752111
----------------------------------------------------------------
1]Not only Paul says. "God does not live in temples built by human hands":

1 Kings 8:27
27 “But will God truly dwell upon the earth?+ Look! The heavens,+ yes, the heaven of the heavens,+ themselves cannot contain you;+ how much less, then, this house+ that I have built!

Isaiah 66:1
66 This is what Jehovah has said: “The heavens are my throne,+ and the earth is my footstool.+ Where, then, is the house that YOU people can build for me,+ and where, then, is the place as a resting-place for me?”+
Acts 7:48

48 Nevertheless, the Most High does not dwell in houses* made with hands;+ just as the prophet says,

About circumcision
The passage that helped settle the matter was Amos 9:11, 12. As quoted at Acts 15:16, 17, it reads: “I shall return and rebuild the booth of David that is fallen down; and I shall rebuild its ruins and erect it again, in order that those who remain of the men may earnestly seek Jehovah, together with people of all the nations, people who are called by my name, says Jehovah.”

7 ‘But wait,’ someone may object, ‘that text does not say that it was unnecessary for Gentile believers to be circumcised.’ That is true; however, Jewish Christians would have got the point. They did not consider circumcised Gentiles as ‘people of the nations’ but as brothers. (Ex. 12:48, 49) For example, according to Bagster’s version of the Septuagint, Esther 8:17 reads: “Many of the Gentiles were circumcised, and became Jews.” Thus, when the Scriptures foretold that those remaining of the house of Israel (Jews and circumcised Jewish proselytes) together with “people of all the nations” (uncircumcised Gentiles) would become one people for God’s name, the message was clear. Circumcision was not required of Gentiles who wanted to become Christians.
[link to wol.jw.org]

and is this what you mean as a Paul teaching?
Luke 23:44 Well, by now it was about the sixth hour, and yet a darkness fell over all the earth until the ninth hour,*+ 45 because the sunlight failed; then the curtain+ of the sanctuary* was rent down the middle.+ 46 And Jesus called with a loud voice and said: “Father, into your hands I entrust my spirit.”+ When he had said this, he expired.+

Cutting to the chase here: If fulfillment don't fit, you must aquit -Paul. The Trophimus"abomination" didn't happen and the temple wasn't desolated Temple was destroyed, however, 70CE.

God could ofc destroy all false Bibles in the world in an instant.

But He does not. He must see some purpose with people arguing over which book is the right one.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1416114

God didn't destroyed Judas and many others.

God gave us a choice and the way to express our love to Him.

We will be judged by our works, not by our faith. That's why most of us has written God's Law in hearts. That's the corner stone of salvation.

Pharisee Paul is an excuse to this type of Christians, who have an attitude of typical lawyers.

Lawyers are usually a serpent seed and they use law crafty way to make a guilty an innocent man. That's how most christian churches are working, because they are based strictly on twisted letters of Paul.

So God has allowed this to happened and He will choose his people in the basis of our attitude towards Christ words and Paul's words.

Christ words are strict, while Paul gives us many way to sing and say that eventually God will have mercy on all of us.

And that is a green light to many sins!

Michael...I don't think you are far off. I will have to read some of your stuff when I get some free time.

Just leaving one verse from the Gospel of Philip:

And so he dwells either in this world or in the resurrection or in the middle place. God forbid that I be found in there! In this world, there is good and evil. Its good things are not good, and its evil things not evil. But there is evil after this world which is truly evil - what is called "the middle". It is death. While we are in this world, it is fitting for us to acquire the resurrection, so that when we strip off the flesh, we may be found in rest and not walk in the middle. For many go astray on the way. For it is good to come forth from the world before one has sinned.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22407179

There is another quotation which applies here; I think it is also from the Gospel of Philip:

"Those who say they will die and then be raised from the dead are in error. If you do not receive the resurrection before you die; after you die you will receive nothing."

This is a clear statement that "the resurrection" is a Revelation.

You teach the doctrine of a metaphysical 'heaven' and 'hell'. That is contradicted by Chapter 28 of Deuteronomy.

You teach that Jesus was 'God'. That is a violation of the first Commandment.

You teach the doctrine of a metaphysical 'soul', a doctrine which was not received through Revelation, but originates in pagan metaphysical philosophy and exists in Hinduism, for example.

You teach that Jesus "died for your sins", which is a violation of the Doctrine of the Righteousness of God which permeates the Torah and the Prophets.

You can't tell me what are the two assumptions made by the Sadducees in asking their question. Granted, you know the second assumption--that there is such a thing as marriage in "the resurrection"; but you do not know the first assumption, because you don't know how to think.

But worst of all, if you were on Calvary at the moment of the crucifixion, and no one could be found to nail Jesus to the cross, you would be required to do it, knowing that you would burn for eternity in hell if you did NOT do it.

That
is what you mean when you say that you 'love' Jesus: that you would be willing to torture him to death to get yourself into the metaphysical 'heaven' which does not even exist. In other words, you would be willing to torture him to death for nothing.

Now, was Paul "chosen and used by God"?

Of course he was.

Just like Hitler was.

Paul's mission was to pervert the Teaching of Jesus as much as possible so it would be acceptable to those who already believed in Roman idolatry and pagan metaphysical philosophy. Without that perversion, you would never even have heard the name Jesus.

But, as has been Prophesied, it is now time for the Truth of the Revelations received by Daniel to be unsealed; chief among them being that the Doctrine of "resurrection"--the Doctrine which Jesus was murdered for teaching--is a Doctrine of 'Rebirth'.

Right.

Religious fascism is what is needed here.

No disagreements at all.

(Sarcasm off.)

But, from the perspective of the other 'discussion' on this thread, this particular argument is almost as important as an argument over what color Paul's eyes were.

Almost.

The problem here is that there is no such thing as what Christians call "salvation".

Jesus was not 'God'.

He could not "die for your sins".

That was a Pharisaical "cover story" for the fact that he was murdered for teaching the Doctrine of "resurrection" as a Doctrine of 'Rebirth'.

Paul was a Pharisaical double agent. Unable to kill all the followers of Jesus, he decided to work from within to destroy the Teaching of Jesus. His principal goal was to protect the Pharisaical Jewish priesthood against the Truth about the Doctrine of "resurrection" as a Doctrine of 'Rebirth'. And he has succeeded in spades.

Some 2000 years later, he has hundreds of millions--no, billions--of followers. Even the IDIOT Muslim religious 'authorities' and their hundreds of millions of gullible followers unquestioningly believe the Egyptian 'god of the dead' doctrine of a physical raising of a dead body from the grave.

The doctrine that Jesus was 'God' formed the basis of the demonization of "the Jews" as "Christ killers"; which, then, resulted in the slaughter of hundreds of thousands and millions of Jews by Christian anti-Semites and Nazis over the next 2000 years.

It might be appropriate at this time to shift from a discussion of the "biggest blunder" in terms of the Teaching of Jesus and the teaching of Paul to the "biggest blunder" in the history of human civilization: the initiation of the "time of trouble" by the confrontation between the alliance of the "king of the South" (the United States and its allies) and the alliance of the "king of the North" (Russia and its allies), which is being discussed on the threads about Syria.

Re: The biggest blunder in the church for years!! The Paul Deception!
And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.

And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:

So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.

And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.

And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?

And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.

Dude, you are crazy. I know you well. We've been discussing things for quite some time now.

You tell Christians that they suck and you are true.

You suck.

You, Michael 4Q529, need Jesus Christ.

How ultimately and supremely futile is warring against him to glorify yourself?

Serve him. Love him. Thank him. What can possibly be better?

It might be appropriate at this time to shift from a discussion of the "biggest blunder" in terms of the Teaching of Jesus and the teaching of Paul to the "biggest blunder" in the history of human civilization: the initiation of the "time of trouble" by the confrontation between the alliance of the "king of the South" (the United States and its allies) and the alliance of the "king of the North" (Russia and its allies), which is being discussed on the threads about Syria.

I was wondering if anybody was talking about that , since the "King of the North" is always Syria and allies, and "King of the South is always Egypt and whatever side they're on, supposedly.
It has seemed to me recently whenever I hear -increasingly frequently- about Syria and its supposedly pivotal role in , well, everything, and how it's imperative "WE" DO SOMETHING about Syria, that it was bound to happen that we'd all be hearing about Syria, syria, and syria sooner or later.
Some ppl I know were shocked to hear I didn't know all about "the arch-villain Assad", who they sounded ready to kill with their bare hands, such were the accounts of villainy they'd read, and heard on NPR, etc.. Whether true or not, I can't stand to read or listen to "news" except on here, because it just all sounds so fake to me.

I'll go look at thread now. Guess I just wanted to show off first, that I already have heard of k.'s of north and south.

Well, obviously, I will never convince you with regards to Doctrine. (As stated by Daniel: "...the wicked will never understand; the wise will understand.")

After all, it specifically states in the Quran that people will be arguing about "the resurrection" until the Day of Resurrection itself.

What are the arguments about?

Whether "the resurrection" is: 1) the Egyptian 'god of the dead' doctrine of the physical raising of a dead body from the grave; or, 2) whether "the resurrection" includes the Revelation of the Memory of Creation and the revelation of the memories of previous lives.

And that argument continues until a person receives the Revelation of "the resurrection" himself or herself.

So, let me suggest you read my webpage with regards to the fractal Prophecies in Chapter 11, verses 40-45 of the Book of Daniel.

No. I don't wonder why I wasn't taken seriously.

Anyone who took me seriously would have to quit their job as a Christian religious 'authority'.

And what is the likelihood of that even IF millions of lives are at stake.

I was merely reporting their lack of response.

"Brought onto Christian shows?"

Are you KIDDING me?

I would NEVER appear on any "Christian show".

I specifically told the man at the Christian Broadcasting Network almost exactly 37 years ago that I did NOT want to appear on The 700 Club.

All I asked of him was that he merely publicize for me the Prophecies I had received, and say that they were received by someone with the first name of Michael on his birth certificate. I did NOT want my last name even publicized.

He refused.

The Doctrines I teach and the explanations I provide are like water.

Your intellect is like a sieve, rather than a cup.

When those Doctrines are poured through your 'sieve', the only thing left in the 'sieve' is the name of the person who provided the explanations of those Doctrines.

It is not MY fault that your intellect is like a sieve.

If it were a cup you would know that my name is only one word of the hundreds of thousands of words I have used to explain the Revelations, Doctrines and Prophecies I have received.
