I was referring to something else actually.

I often wonder why people are the way they are in today's society. They're apathetic, selfish and act like zombies. Your statement connected some dots for me in regards to understanding why people are the way they are.

Part of it is because we are a drugged, numb society. When someone figures out what is actually going on (wakes up) they often become depressed/anxious, when they see how bad it really is. Modern society tells us that we are depressed and tells us we need to take a pill to fix that...so you can be "normal" of course. In 1776 we, as in a whole society, placed the blame where it belonged and revolted. Liberty and freedom were our Prozac and Cialis. Pharmaceuticals are pushed on us everywhere we look. Big Pharma makes a much larger profit than big oil but nobody ever talks about that. There are more deaths annually due to "legal" drugs than "illegal" drugs. When people can't get their "legal" drugs, they seek out the illegal ones and end up part of the Prison Industry which is even more profit of the backs of the people. Keeping the populace numb and apathetic also allows the powers that be to manipulate and control the masses in an even easier fashion than they ever could before.

That's just a few of the dots connected.

you are not alone.. these are tryin times to be alive. we are all under attack physically mentally and spiritually. we are in a fight for our soul. these feelings of sadness and dread are perfectly normal right now because of so much shit happening to us. its part of grief process. if u didnt feel this way at times id be more concered. keep on keepin on.... and tumeric helps for mood. BTW you are right where youy are supposed to be right now, hang in there and youll feel even better than before this all started. no pain no gain. I speak from experience.
